also open the save that you want to add the chest to, tabs let you have both open at same time
ok now to find the chest... in the new savegame file since you cant equip it yet it'll prolly be in your backpack
Top Level Struct
-> SAVEGAME_PARTYLIST
-> SAVEGAME_BACKPACK
now go through the numbered strings 0-? until the first value is prm000im_dragon_blood_plate
right click the # that is above TEMPLATERESREF next to our armors value and copy the string
then switch to the tab of the savegame you want to add the item to
Top Level Struct
-> SAVEGAME_PARTYLIST
-> SAVEGAME_BACKPACK
right click the SAVEGAME_BACKPACK value and paste the string you copied, it should be added at the end of the list, save your work of course, and enjoy

Runes are like armor, they dont stack so you have to paste the item string 5 times in the backpack tree location if you want 5 more of the same rune for instance

ok the easiest way to get the armor back is to create a new game, save, open save in toolset after exiting out of DA:O completely

This was an excellent little tutorial Amlaria, I spent a good hour on the Wiki, and this would have been EXCELLENT over there.
I hope that you post it... if you don't I may... (you'll get props of course.)
thx!
