Hey guys, it seems Leliana will appear in Awakening after all?  look what I found here... Perhaps the info was released in Corinne's (Leliana's voice actress) website rather early or something? what do you think?

nope, only in the Epilogue it says "Soem say the Warden Commander reunited with the Red-haired Bard Leliana. A year after the Blight, the ywere seen shopping in Denerim..."

Possibly her piosting on the site meant "New expansion out... Leliana will appear in a new DLC" that will come out in the future. I want to be able to continue the romance in that DLC if she comes in one

Her Facebook page clarifies.

"This is all the info I have been given, that Leliana is not in the expansion pack but that a dlc will be available, sorry I can't to be more helpful. if I get more info, I will pass it on."

How AWESOME is the news about a future DLC involving Leliana!? Surely she won't be the only love interest to come back, no?

I agree I would love -if not possible to really continue the romance- to have her around, she was my second favourite character in Origins XD

I guess it's because the first time I saw it was on facebook at the start of April but I still don't believe it, please bioware, put me out of my cynical misery, yes or no?

It would make sense though, she seems to come quite high on alot of 'favourite companion' polls, probably the highest character who isn't tied into the plot (hard to define that without spoilers but you get what I mean) on most, and since one of the reasons given for cutting companions was related expenses (VA and such..)(as I remember), charged companion addons would seem to be a good idea, I'd certainly buy it.

But, like I said, I need convincing that it's even genuine. Not to mention I made up the bit about her being a companion, it could just be a Leliana cameo, but I'm not entirely cynical...

Alistairs in, morrigons busy and prob being saved for sequel, and Zevran is nearly as popular as any of them. So i would venture to say yes. Leliana has maybe the biggest fanbase in the game so if anyone was to come back it would be her. But hey we can hopes

I bet we'll see a DLC for each of the companions. Should they survive the events of the games, each one hints at a location they'll travel to. So. EZ DLC.

Wouldn't that be a bloody awesome DLC?

One that is like, some extra area, be it for a tournament of sorts or whatever the reason- but you meet up with a bunch of your old companions, and you can get new info as to what they were doing while you where being all Grey Warden-y.

I want her back lol, I dont know how will BioWare do it in the DLC and in Dragon Age 2 -in case she happens to appear there as well, I for one hope yes, since her plot twists [Origins Spoilers] could've lead to her death or leave[End of Spoilers]... Perhaps they'll do another "awakening" trick on which it was assumed that she somehow remained with you till the end?

You do realize your Warden will only "suffer" through that if you put in the money for the DLC. If you don't want Leliana back in your game, then don't pay for the DLC (if it comes).

The possibility of Leliana appearing in an upcoming DLC sounds awesome, definitely looking forward to that. On a somewhat related note, I'm willing to bet if they add an Awakening DLC featuring Leliana, Zev, and possibly Allistair, a lot of the hate on these boards would probably stop.

Has ne one noticed there's no "Leliana fan-thread" or "Alistair fan-thread" on Dragon Age forums compared to the ME2 forums? Why is that?



In the ME2 forums the entire section is flooded by it.

As much as I'd love Leliana back, I suspect she'll only appear as long as Alistar, Anora, Loghain, and Wynne did.
