As some of you already know, Corinne Kempa, the actress who voiced Leliana, posted the following on her Facebook official page. Here the three posts in chronological order:

1. April 2010, Dragon Age: Origins Awakening,
Expansion Pack. The character Leliana is in a dlc (downloadable content)

2. Leliana is not in the Expansion Pack, the dlc is
a separate product, Bioware has told me that it's a loads of fun to
play. Just wanted to make sure not to confused everyone!! I would love
to voice Leliana again, and work with Bioware as I have had a brilliant
time working for them!! We will see what the future holds....

3. This is all the info I have been given, that
Leliana is not in the expansion pack but that a dlc will be available,
sorry I can't to be more helpful. if I get more info, I will pass it
on.

So I guess that there is a DLC out there, being currently made, which involves Leliana. If that's so, other love interests may come back too, in the same DLC or in another one.

yes, this is certainly good news... any DLCs are good, but hopefully this implies one with the other LIs too.

It is great news! DLCs wouldn't be half as fun without companions commenting on events.

Not so strange. The DLC's take place when the companions are still together, before endgame. The expansion didn't.

If there is Zev, and it is good, then to me the expansion will suddenly be awesome.

It had so much good going for it, minus the total lack of anyone who was supposed to be with you, or any explanation.

Why not? Doesn't Alistair vanish in the epilogue as well? Assuming he was King and was even on-camera to begin with, otherwise he's in the same boat as Leliana and Zevran. And Morrigan can be tracked down.

If the DLC is post-plot, I don't see why it couldn't have whomever.

So, is this dlc actually related to Awakening then? That is, do we access it from the Awakening campaign? I guess it would be odd to release an Origins dlc after Awakening has come out but "the dlc is a separate product" could go either way.

You know, it could also be a DlC where Leliana returns and nobody else ... significant if she was someone's LI, but still possibly involving her helping you with some additional quest(s) even if you parted as "co-adventurers".

Great news or greatest news? I had to double check this wasn't some sort of April Fools joke come too late. This is *excellent* news. As Leliana is my favorite party member I can't wait to see it. My only disappointment is it's highly unlikely to appear in time for my current playthrough.

Probably going to be that same garbage that happened with Mass Effect 2, which added Kasumi to the campaign.

I hope it's not, but Bioware doesn't have a good batting average with Origins post-release.

Unlikely. The howling of the Zevran and Alistair fangirls would be heard around the world. Us Morrigan fans might also get a word in edgewise.

I would love to see either a DLC or a mod for tracking down Morrigan. There is a mod for this listed in the projects, but I don't think it's gone anywhere yet. Still grounded afaik..
