I was wondering if I could get full renegade without being a jerk to everyone I meet. Like picking renegade for major decisions and paragon decisions for little things like giving Tali the geth data or using paragon and nuetral dialogue.

I dont think so, but half renegade yes definitely. Just be a hardass when it counts, not when being a dick

Well when I do some thing like deny Tali the data I feel like a jerk. That gives me very little paragon and I can live with that I just want to make sure I don't waste my time trying to get full renegade olny to find out I was too nice. I 'm a **** when it comes to being mean to nice ppl.

Well heres the thing, some people deserve renegade actions, Ive only played through ME1 twice and ME2 once. Be a jerk when its called for, like against Balak, or Saren

Or that **** Jeong (something like that) on Feros, and that reporter.
I see what you mean though. I think I'll start tonight and one more thing, do you think I should do ALL the sidequest. I want to have a fun run in ME2, but if sidequest don't carry over there will be no piont.

Some assignments have some carry overs to ME2.

Cannot comment on the renegade play. There are many events/decisions that carried over to ME2 for my play through.

It's possible to get 100%+ renegade and 80%+ in a single playthrough. Probably wound up at like 130-140% renegade, more or less.

It helps if you beat mass effect 1 with alot of renegade points

Being a jerk can be fun in me 1 , lol but i am a total paragon , i would asume ( a dangerous word to use) that you would only be half renegade.. but what do i know i am just a sad...little..regular member lol =(
