Goths aren't absent of emotion, that would be a misconception. Most are witty, normal, reasonably happy people who just happen to like wearing black, and enjoy life in darker shades.

Just saying, because I know a good couple of goths who aren't emotionally absent.

Being done with that off-topic ness. I really like my first Femshep, but I can't say I'm attracted to her, straight girl who happens to have a weird thing for male aliens. :/ Like what. Jacob and Kaidan are okay but they're not nearly as interesting as Thane and Garrus... Or even Legion.

I think Jennifer Hale has an effect on people though, she's so much more fun to listen to than Mark Meer.

I am just absorbed by my character's personality and their looks.

No, it actually doesn't sound weird nor does it sound unexplainable. I too find my female Shepard attractive! Physcially of course I think we do try to make our Shepards look attractive. Also the decisions we make on their behalf during gameplay builds up a unique personality for them. If you play like I do, then you're probably making deicisons which you feel best suits your Shepard. She becomes unique, in both appearance and personality.

So to be attracted to your Shepard isn't weird and definitely not unexplainable. (At least in my opinion.) I know I find my Shepard to be quite attractive, and I'm also female.

....hmm Havent tried making a female shepard...what ive seen so far they are not attractive. So far Ive made my Male Shepard to look like myself...with 60 to a 70% accuracy need more skull profile sets, aniways...to the OP...I found myself attracted to the idea of some of the fem squad mates in ME2....


Still..this thread is funny and at the same time disturbing....I shall return to my meditarions

This seems pretty natural. Like things should be, you designed the character (If not default) to your likings. Therefore she got the physical attractiveness.

You also played her out to what you'd want her to be like. Therefore she got the personality attractiveness.

The fact you have played as her and done so much, like strengthening a team, shows her strength. Therefore she got the inner attractiveness.

And finally, you romanced (If so) someone to your liking, let it be Garrus or Thane (But I'm a little against Jacob... he whines too much.) you designed her to model the perfect woman for you. Her romantic attractiveness.

I agree with alot of what people have posted , of course i really enjoyed the gameplay & playing along with my squadmate's which was a a really big plus as i seen some returning faces from ME1 .What also attracted me to my femshep wasn't the fact that i just loved her personality on all level's but it was how it could enjoy that with my interested in space , so i guess this gameplay & adventures within the game filled empty void's within me and plus i got alot of fun from doing it lol ,


So again thanks for your posts , i have decided to keep playing on after finishing the game with my femshep & i am going to try different classes & renegade (instead of a total paragon which i was) lol ,

Anyway, uh, I dunno, when I play RPGs with a male character, they're basically me, and when it's with a female, it's basically someone who I think is attractive. This really isn't rocket science here.

I don't think it's weird at all. I admit I'm attracted to my femshep as well. It is the personalty and voice for one, but then getting to design her looks, I guess I went about making her look attractive to me, rather then making her look like myself. It's just a game, have fun with it and don't worry.

In my opinion you have to be at least a BIT attracted to the character you designed to enjoy playing the game with that particular char.

Yes, I'm attracted to my female shepard as well, I designed her for cryin' out loud
