But, yeah, I've got a bit of a crush on my femShep. She's beautiful, to my tastes, with a tough girl attitude, but a good heart. My manShep is the poster child for paragon, being based off a mixture of Superman and Captain America. My femShep is more unique and interesting and holds a special place in my heart because of it.

In ME1, my femshep was a vanguard with a sniper rifle. Barrier, lift, assassinate, adrenaline rush, repeat.
Couldn't figure out how to translate that into ME2, so finally decided to ditch those biotics.
Now she's a cyborg with cloaking implants and geth shield boost.

My Femshep is based on her
www.leiawen.net/gramnaes/images/AlmaShepard.jpg
from the user ChiZ on www.masseffect2faces.com/index.php
since I don't like my old imported one from ME1.
But now, she is the greatest female maincharacter I ever had in a videogame.
BioWare, pls keep up your good work.

Yeah i went to my squad menu & i have it ... not sure about giving it out as it's personal too meh
Definitely understandable. I was debating whether to share my Fem Shep code... I probably won't.
I'm still... puzzled that you got the option to just edit. When I went to edit it reset everything about my Shepard's face?? Maybe I missed the option? Argh.
Because I'd really like the facecode for my male shepard that I made a long time ago, and I still like him, just want to make his cheek bones less pronounced ;p
Now that you've clarified, I don't think it's strange at all. I do think a lot about my Shepards, a little more about my Fem Shep at times. My male shepard I just feel nostalgic about, for being my first ME1 character.

For a while I felt the same way about my character. I then began to wonder if I could recreate the face. Not being given a face code for my import was, well, like a slap in the face. That's when I really felt the urge to try to make a copy to share with others. I'd like to think that doing so inspires some players to make female Shepards that look more different from the Jane model.Alocormin wrote...

I feel the same way about my Shepard. She's the first character I created in ME1 and I held onto the save for nearly two years. I didn't really become attached to my character until I imported her into the second game and then something seemed to click. She is a combination of several qualities I admire, personality and appearance-wise, and has become a very real part of the Mass Effect universe. To clarify, she's not just another character I used for an alternate play through. She is Shepard and so I find it very hard to play as anyone else in the game. Some may argue, with good reason, that I have limited my experience of the ME series, but I feel that I've enriched my experience by creating something so personal. Good lord, this post makes me sound like a total corndog! -_-"
It doesnt make you sound like anything, i was basically meaning by my main post that i found myself really drawn to my player that i created and how i played her out and it just all clicked together ... i guess some people feel like this but don't like saying it.I just dont feel the same when i playthrough with a different player with a different facial structure and renegade path ( my femshep was a total paragon lol ), also i dont think it means anything tha i amfemale but i feel attracted to myfemshep it's probaly more me wanting to be her then liking her..
But its nice when you feel somthing is yours and it's personal to you and it won't change,
And to spacehamsterZH i agree with your post also:wizard:
thanks for the post's also:wub:

I had the same thing. In ME1, my femshep was a bit 'meh'. She looked kinda nice, she behaved how I wanted her to behave (mostly, anyway), but still there was missing something. To be honest, even now, I don't know what exactly. But when I loaded her into ME2... it didn't happen immediately, but at some point after Horizon, I looked at my femshep and I thought: "Damn! You're actually quite pretty!" She was almost full Paragon at that point, so maybe it had something to do with that, I don't know.Flies_by_Handles wrote...

And I must say, when I played through Kasumi's loyalty mission with her and I saw her for the first time in that formal outfit... It is an understatement when I say she looked rather nice. The fact that I still wore it back on the Normandy made it even better...

Yes, yes, but some of us are vain when it comes to femshep ...
Also, I play renegon, so the scars are often very pronounced.

Part of what makes me so attached to my character has to do with becomming more familiar with western-style rpgs, what with the character customization and less linear game play. Role playing involves more than just stat building and loot, I realize. Story decisions also come into play and the Mass Effect series implements this in a unique way. If my character did not talk and if there were less camera angles focusing on her, I doubt I would care as much.

Mine's a full-on renegade, and at some point the scars really made her look like a space zombie. It really depends on the character, I also have an aged, battle-hardened looking male renegade where the scars actually enhance the look, it just didn't work on the female. Some characters just look sickly with them.

Yes i agree i what attracted me most to my femshep was how she handled herself in certain "outlawsish" situation's , but my shephard being a total paragon she was always a light-heart indivual which made me all the more attacted to her
