I finally took out my cell phone and took a picture or two of my femShep.  I'm really pleased with how she
looks, I think.  I may need to tweak one or two things for my next playthrough, though.

Is this based on sgwavesurfer's Evelyn Shepard from ME1? My Male shepard is just the default face (looks badass as is) but I really wasn't a fan of the default female face so I used sgwavesurfer's model as a template and  then made some changes to it. I personally think that my character looked better in ME1 than ME2 primarily because of the different hair textures they use in the second version (the blonde hair looks yucky if you ask me).

I wasn't asking or it nor would I force you to give it out. (Just stating that there is always a unique ID/face code at the top left of the squad menu).

Ok...  it should be in the upper left

As far as I know it's impossible to just edit your Shepard's face?  Am I missing something?  You'd have to remake
him/her... that's what happens when I've tried... ?

You can try one of these face codes. I was playing  around with the character editor and seeing if I could make my Shepard look any better and then I got bored and tried to make a few new faces and this one looks pretty close to Erinlana's Shepard.

Originally, she was based off the Kara Thrace ME1 from the old thread way back when that explained how many times to shift the bar over, lol.  The most recent reincarnation, after her Cerberus facelift, was based on AwesomeName's Aenea Shepard (http://www.masseffec....php?faceID=357).  I obviously made a few adjustments, but not that many.  She'll always be a sort of work in progress, I think, but I don't want to depart too far from her original appearace in ME1 'cause I can't believe that people will recognize her if she's completely different, y'know what I mean?

Haha yeah I know. It probably won't have an impact on the game but it's kind of odd when Tali greets you as Shepard when you've pulled a picasso on your ME1 face :D. Nonetheless, this is the thread where wavesurfer posted his Shepard (http://meforums.biow...forum=104&sp=30).

I really love Female Shepard's personality in ME2. Just wanted to say that. Mark Meer also does a good job, but frequently Hale's performance would just make me stop and think about nothing else but what Shepard was saying and thinking.

Despite nostalgia for my original Male Shepard, Female Shepard is pretty special to me :) Especially with working on making a unique, tough, attractive and interesting looking shepard took me about 3 years :)

I'm not saying that Mark Meer is bad but I found Jennifer Hale to be a MUCH better VA. Sometimes it's just the subtle variations in tone but in general the female Shepard has much better speech delivery than the male one (which is a shame because the male Shepard is pretty badass too).

I think it's the best VO hale has done, probably. And there's a lot of it in ME 2 that's really good. ME 1, she was pretty decent, but she just seems to have such a clear concept of who Shepard is, whether good or bad.

Although I think she expresses nobly-intentioned Shepard a little better.

Can't remember where I read it so the source may just be rubbish, but I heard that 1/10 women are ******-sexual.
Now, on topic, there's nothing wrong with being attracted to the character you've created. I wouldn't play as a blonde, brown-eyed Shepard/Grey Warden if I didn't think it was beautiful. Nothing wrong with that, but I think it's exaggerated these days, that as soon as you put "attracted" and something virtual togheter, you're a weirdo no-lifer who has to much time on his hands.

This is may sound really weird and unexplainable , i created my femshep as it is called , but throught the dialog of the game i have romanced with the male charaters  in the game (I am female) , but i feel attracted to the femshep.I am attracted mainly by her facial features .I dont think i am the first to be affected by this but i feel really strange about it as it is occupying my thoughts a great deal.

I am just absorbed by my character's personality and their looks.
I am expecting this be considered as obsessive but i think its more personaitily then anything:wizard:

Note my avatar isnt my femshep .

Pretty common stuff - it's called narcicissm, you know. :bandit:

I can see where the OP is coming from with this as, if you create something, you'll generally create something you find attractive (hopefully this doesn't apply to RigAudios' Ugly Shepard, please God let it not).

Additionally BioWares incredible - crosseyed moments and terrifying shepsmiles aside - animation work and high degree of success in avoiding the Uncanny Valley especially with the eye work go a long way towards making Shepard a believable being rather than just a buch of pixels on a screen.

And yes, I may have a tiny tiny lilttle crush on my FemShep too. Feel free to freak out now.Image IPB

Yeah have to say, I have to say, I liked my femshep before, but liked it an bit more once i added an few of the haircuts you aren't suppose to get. Added... some spunk or personality to her than the default hairstyles. To be honest, It's not really that much different from any other game, you do kindof create an attachment to the character as you go along because of the choices you make. It's like owning an car, when you do maintence, engine rebuild, etc etc, you become very very attached to your car.

Interesting topic. :D

My Femshep is based on her

www.leiawen.net/gramnaes/images/AlmaShepard.jpg

from the user ChiZ on www.masseffect2faces.com/index.php

since I don't like my old imported one from ME1.

But now, she is the greatest female maincharacter I ever had in a videogame. :)

BioWare, pls keep up your good work.

Nice femshep i guess its down to your own personailty :wizard:

I created mine and just simply fell in love with it lol as strange as it seem..but hey
:pinched:

Actually I never thougt about it but your guess quite good.
Cause my Femshep from ME1 doesn't look good anymore in Part II. And I finish her adventure in ME1, where she looks decent, before I imported her.
Luckily due to a coincidence I run into the site above with the ME2 faces. And my first thougt on HER was: "Oh man, that's her!" :wizard:
And one thing it's for sure. Renegade totally doesn't suite her cause she do very bad things and she looks horrible. However the personality of Femshep in ME2 is imo more better than in Part I. Good work BioWare.

But your case is also quite interesting. You created her and here she was. Maybe due to a mix of your personality
and intuition. ^_^
Unfortunately the pic doesn't show her whole head. Nevertheless she is also a nice Femshep. ^^

Nice femshep , Thoese cross eyed momment's are priceless , but yes bioware have improved alot with thier facial features & structure.

As i said my main attraction to my femshep was her personality & faical feature's (reguarding bioware's improvement with facial feature's in ME2)  Making my femshep more of a person then a bunch of pixel's.

But my Femshep is a charcter i can really connect to , She just rock's :wizard:

I will try get a better picture as i used my cellphone for it last time >.< lol :pinched:

Also @ commander_shepard   i have the code on xbox 360

& again thanks for the post's & comment's =]

Aaaand then how exactly does the Human species reproduce if I may inqiure? :? Cloning?

Either which way if that was the case, wouldn't Harbinger say something like:
SHEPARD, YOUR SPECIES' REPRODUCTIVE CAPACITY HAS DIMINISHED, YOU ARE NO LONGER SUITABLE. :P

Bi isn't the same thing as lesbian.

Oh... I'm working on getting a picture of my femshep now. I suppose I can at least share what she looks like.

Nonetheless the number of male-female relationships would be reduced wouldn't it? Either that or people would be in multiple relationships... aand now we are officially several light years OT. :P

That famous 1/10 figure was from Alfred Kinsey's study, but it was done on men and not women.

Regardless, it has been widely debunked for years due to the flawed and fraudulent procedures used in the study.

Subsequent and better methodologies have shown that 1/25 (or 4%) is more accurate than the 1/10 touted by Kinsey.

As for most women being bi, thats pop culture nonsense and has no basis in fact.  In reality same sex behaviour is more common in men than women, but it's still very much a minority behaviour in both sexes.

I, too, have a Shepard that "inspires" me. I'm not really sure how else
to describe it. I've created an ideal characterization of something I
would like to live up to, I suppose? This is my Paragon Shepard:

Image IPB

Her being Paragon is definitely a large part of
the attraction for me, no doubt about it. Also, I agree that Jennifer
Hale does an excellent job of voicing. I have heard from other people
(who play male Shepards) that think Mark did a better job, so I figured
maybe it was just a preference that was completely biased, but I tend to
get the impression that (at least from the people in this thread)
Jennifer did a better job.
