I'm having trouble reigstering this game here on the Bioware website. When I bought the game, via Steam (standard edition), I had a few keys, used one or two for DLC content. Also used a key to register the game on the EA website, since, when you right click the game in your games tab, it says "Register your game...", so I did. Now I'm realizing that I can't post in the spoilers forum without registering my game here? Shouldn't that link have taken me to this website first then?

Edit: Err, forgot to mention that when I try to register here, it gives me an invalid key error...

So what I'm asking is, did registering on the EA website make it impossible for me to register the game here? and if so, can that be fixed? I don't want to miss out on part of this website, because I really, really enjoy it, and I've been enjoying the game even more-so. I really have to hand it to you guys, friggin' superb game.

Would really appreciate any kind of help here...

Navigate to Profile>Register Games on the menu to the left.



Register your CDkey there. You can find it in the configurator under the games tab.

Whoops, edited my original post. Forgot to mention that when entering my key here on this website, I get an invalid error.

I'm having a similar problem. Bought the game through Steam and registered at the EA site linked to through the "Register your game..." menu item. Wanted to download the toolset, but BioWare shows the game as unregistered, and recognizes the CD-Key as invalid.

You're using the key found in the configurator without dashes right? If not, then try it.



Right click on the game in steam. Open the launcher then click configure. In the configurator click the game tab on the left and the key needed to register here should be listed. If that doesn't fix it then I don't believe there is a known solution right now

Just came in here to report this.  It seemed to work just fine!

Aha! Thanks Dateranoth, that worked! Steam was giving me a completely different key than the configurator.

I bought it on the 360 and I'm entering the bar code but it is not working...

make sure you get the two small numbers on the left and right
