I thought they already announce that the Liara expansion would be out in August/Sep 10. I think she is going to be the Illusive Man of ME3 for paragons.

That's news to me...where did you hear this?

I heard they didnt want to talk about any of the Liara DLC until after the comic series ended. So maybe after Wednesday BioWare can start talking about it more. I know the TPB of Redemption comes out in June. Personally could see a tie in with that's release and the DLC.

Did you hear that from a real source or just another Mass Effect fan on these forums?

Expansion pack for 30 bucks.

I hope so.  That would be great.  Much better than a bunch of silly micros.

This is what all true BioWare fans strive for mah boi.

Resident Effect!

Make it happen BioWare!

I kinda felt like they already did that with the slow-moving Husks in ME1. Sure felt like I was in an RE game, popping zombies with my shotgun.

Yes it was a real source. However it was like a month ago, during the same time all the new Kasumi info was starting to trickle out. I'll poke around and see if I can find the article/link again. It wasnt anything in-depth other than they could not confirm any information regarding further development because of comic tie-ins and spoilers for it.

First, a patch to fix the bugs in the game along with fixes
to the geometry clipping problems. If possible the patch should fix some
disparities (e.g., in horizon Ashley/Kaiden acknowledges Garrus if he's with
you but Wrex or Liara doesn’t. Liara should also recognize Miranda because she
has seen her before, according to the novels/comics).

Here are my DLC hopefuls in no particular order

1. A DLC/patch that allows us to choose when to activate the Reaper IFF.

1. Going after Balak DLC (from BDtS)

2. The apartment from pinnacle station DLC

3. A research pack DLC that enhances teammates, sort of like how grunt gets claymore, legion get widow (fingers crossed hopeful example, Garrus/Zaeed gets Revenant LMG after upgrade, Jacob get AR training, etc)

4. A DLC mission pack that allows Shep to call in orbital bombardments from Normandy.

5. Legion specific DLC where you capture inactive a Geth prime/destroyer, allowing legion to download himself into said platforms for other missions.

6. A ability changing DLC pack that allows you to train your teammates to a bonus ability, like Jacob getting biotic charge, Miranda with tech armour, samara with singularity , etc.

7 And finally, a DLC where Mordin retires to a passive role (Dr Chakwas/ Joker type) and Sheppard get to hire Tazik from the novels/comics.

Correction: They didn't announce it. It was listed on EA site for upcoming releases and some guy leaked audio files from it.

I would like to see some other studio (Obsidian?) make spin-off DLC with new main character and (almost) completely unrelated story. It could reuse some locations and characters on Citadel though.
I would like to play something without saving the universe.

Uh
 wow.

I wouldn't hold my breath for any of those being actual DLC at any time..

Those seem like game-changing/game-breaking additions.

Not to mention many aren't even missions or adding something to do. They just make the game easier IMO.:bandit:

XBOX Users,

Anyone by chance actually waste 80 MS Points for those "Picture Packs" they've got up?

They're new gamertag pictures

I'm by principle, entirely against such ridiculous micro purchases, it resembles less console gaming and more the crap that Mafia Wars and the rest of those abominations are hustling to those bored college students on Facebook

Actual title : Alternate Appearance Pack 2

I'd love to see some kind of actual expansion pack that starts to bridge the story from ME2 to ME3.  Even if the missions are relatively short, something to start moving us towards the start of ME3 in story line progression.  But, I doubt something like that would come (if it did) until well into the year.

Another heavy weapon, probably the armor in the Arc Projector pic, and maybe a few more Hammerhead missions, something low key is most likely on tap next.

Liara DLC, must be.

Anyone think it isn't coincidence that Kasumi and Redemption #4 are coming out within successive days?

BioWare is setting the stage for it!

Actually, I think that Concept art of Tazzik is just the concept artist not paying attention to detail, because in the ACTUAL comic issue with Tazzik, he only has 3 fingers per hand

How about the Batarians have started to raid human colonies post suicide mission using advanced tech. They are attacking using Reaper style weapons and husks. The Alliance comes asking Shep to help and you are dispatched to get to the bottom of it.
So after a load of shooting we find that they managed to activate the Leviathan of Dis and its a Raeper. Now its badly damaged and cant operate except to indoctrinate the batarians and send them collecting humans to use in its repair.
In comes Shepard shoots the crap out of everything and bam. Top shelf DLC that has story and explains the whole mystery around the Leviathan of Dis.

I'd pay $20-30 each for a return to Noveria/Illos/Virmire/Feros (not necessarily all of them) DLC. The main problem is see is the cost in having to get all the voice actors back. :-/

I'd also pay for a disked expansion that had 8-20 uncharted worlds to survey that was set post-ME2 climax. Nothing massive in terms of story, just a larger opportunity to use the hammerhead, some dialogue, and some interesting exploration.
