Seven new types of armour pieces.

Three new weapons.

Liara Shadow Broker.

One more major piece of DLC involving several tied together missions.

Dialogue pack.

Another DLC that rewards those people for playing / completing Pinnacle Station in ME1 (Or is that an apology?) in the form of the upgradeable retirement house.

I'm hoping for an insane AI taking over a real big spaceship and changing the crew.

Yes it's System Shock 2, but that game and the atmosphere were good!

I'm hoping for, in no particular order:

1) A romance/squad interaction pack. Extra squad missions that can be played as either love interest and friend (e.g. cure Thane), extra interaction with all LI's (dates, gifts, family etc) plus more conversation options with squad mates post game. It always seemed cruel that you spent so long getting a great squad and developing a romance, then post game they had (almost) nothing new to say or do. You dont even go for a beer - I know if my team saved the galaxy, we'd be down the pub doing a massive conga!

2) A fix to remove helmets from suits

3) More appearance options, for all characters, both casual and combat.

4) An expansion pack with multiple quests a ka Awakenings (albeit more tied into the ME game).

5) A few more non-combat quests - I really enjoyed some of the missions that didnt involve blasting everything that moves, why not have more of them? The original KOTOR has solving a murder, something like that would be ace.

6) Dancing with squadmates in the clubs - why was this removed?

7) More things to do post game - the galaxy actually recognising you beat the collectors would be a start! Doesnt have to be uniform, but people who should know better dont e.g. Anderson never recognises it!

There is a huge galaxy out there, it would be fantastic to flesh it out a bit before ME3, which I imagine is going to be some kind of "Reapers arriving, gather army and allies for huge climactic battle" scenario, which sounds ace but might not have time for wandering.

To Sabbaaggio....You said you could dance with squadmates in the clubs? When was this? I only recall Shephard solo dancing in Flux, and again at the Citadel club in ME2. Maybe I'm missing something.

To SpiderFan....Yeah, I see how the N7 is a badge of honor, and considering it's an extremely recognizable part of the marketing of the game I doubt they would remove it. However, from an RP standpoint, if you go renegade, embrace Cerberus, and consider yourself to have left the Alliance, then why keep the rank and designation. It's just an RP consideration, and I see where you are coming from as well.

Well there will be two more dlc squad mates but for now they are "classified"

(Edit) Personally I would like to see some of the alien home worlds, Earth, and another Firewalker pack.

Well you could in ME1 ... sort off, it only happened with love interrest.

ME2 have solo dances, love interrest does not join in (or anyone else for that matter).

The power pack #1.

Carnage - can replace Grunt or Zaeed's special power, or Shepard can train in it. Fires a bolt of electromagnetically charged plasma that does extra damage to shields and armor, if the target is on fire or stunned by electricity (Either on synthetics or the weapon overheat component) it detonates.

Overkill - Replaces Kasumi or Miranda's special power, or Shepard can learn it. Uses your omni-tool to boost your weapon's electrical output, doubling your weapon's fire rate temporarily.

Tech Mine - Mordin or Tali can learn this to replace their special power, or Shepard can learn it. You deploy a Tech Mine at the target location that detonates when hostiles travel near it, knocking down all nearby enemies and damaging their accuracy.

Biotic Storm - Samara, Jack, or Shepard, You create a wide area warp field, knocking around nearby objects in a circular pattern, any biotics used in this area of effect behave as if targets were unprotected. (The visual effect would be the swirling mass fields around the arms that we see Jack using to fight the Ymir mechs when we release her, and also what Morinth and Samara appear to be using at the end of their showdown.)

Biotic Jump - Thane, Jacob or Shepard. You use your biotics to jump forward and over any obstacles or enemies, dealing melee damage to nearby enemies when you land. (Ideally a component would prevent enemies from targetting you directly after your jump)

Explosive Ammo - Legion, Garrus, or Shepard. You key Explosive ammo into your weapon, doing extra damage to shields, armor, and health, and adding a small blast to each round fired.

Close Quarters Combat Research - Each class receives a special benefit for their melee attack.

Shadow Strike - Infiltrators do incredible damage if they strike their target while in stealth.

Brute Strike - Soldiers do 4x damage when bullrushing (The small amount of free melee damage you do when you 'sprint' directly into an enemy)

Biotic Strike - Adepts strike hard enough to create a shockwave that staggers nearby enemies, any targets ragdolled by physics take extra damage.

Omni Strike - Engineers strike targets with a specialized attack that disables synthetics with electricity, and sets organics on fire.

Assault Strike - For a short time after charging, Vanguard's melee attacks can be used twice as quickly.

Reactive Strike - After your shields go down, your melee attacks knock enemies over for a short time.

That sounds cool. Then Shepard has to land on it with his crew, and not just the 3. Maybe some guys stay back and guard the Ship while a few Cerberus operatives explre the ship. Then everyone hears a scream over their radio suits, runs to the location, and finds some of the crew dead. And so and so on....

Personally I believe it's about time Shepard got an upgrade which results in him becoming some pseudo-inspector gadget like cyborg zombie.

Admiral Hackett:
Shepard, I have a mission for you. Ever hear of the Leviathan of Dis? The Reaper corpse the Batarians moved? Well our intelligence boys have found it on the world of _____. We don't know what they are doing outside of Batarian space, but we want whatever research data they have gathered. You've seen what we and the Turians managed to salvage from Sovereign... we may be able to get much more from this "Leviathan". Plus we need to keep that tech out of Batarian hands if possible.
Your the only one I can trust the task to Shepard, and you have one of the only ships capable of doing the job. There are a lot of Batarians guarding the research facility, as well as vorcha and krogan mercs. Also, Geth scout ships have been spotted in the area, they may be planning something as well. We need to act before they do. Hackett out.

Illusive Man:
Shepard, I have a better proposal, but we'll talk once you have that data.

Throw in plenty of firefights, new guns and armor, some Hammerhead action, and you have something. Hell, perhaps you could run into Ashley or Kaidan again.

Expansion pack for 30 bucks.

ME Redemption DLC!

But during these events Shepard is dead, so what would there be to do? Lay in a coffin?

You mean Zombie Shepard!

or you play as L'iara and progress through the comic as an expansion

Or it follows the plot of Redemption, and you play as shepard rescuing Feron or something.

that is likely as well in which it would be an expansion like Awakening most likely and any survivng squad mates may return to help you

Let's hope it is not anything like Awakening, That "expansion" did NOT expand the game. Instead your player character and team mates completely lost their history (in one of my games Alistair ended up as a drunk, Loghain was rebuilding the Wardens and Oghren was kicked from my team - and all that had no effect and even your LI was gone). It was also completely incompatible with any DLCs. If you owned armor and weapons from these DLCs then all these were lost too. What a crap. So, please... ME2 doesn't need to be polluted by crap like that.

Sorry for the confusion, was just saying that in ME1 you could dance with LI's, but in ME2 you can only solo dance. Seemed a very retrograde step to me, so I would have liked any DLC that fixed that.

I actually liked it as well. It was a nice change of pace from things...and I was NOT expecting to get the retirement home from admiral yellsalot. Would be nice if we can go back in the next DLC...I would also like to kill that batarian from bringing down the sky...I let him go. I'm sure Cerberus can find him.

Its close to impossible, I personally hope for more firewalker missions. But such DLCs will be limited to only those who bought first DLC, and while firewalked was free for Cerberus owners thus highering number of possible buyers, still Katsumi was paied DLC.

I really hope for:

- DLC with tones of armor parts (aka N7 armor) that provide more options not like one thats best for soldier, one for vangard and so on. But maybe having multi bonus items where you will think if you should get more shield and less weapon power or more ammo and less shield

- DLC with more simple weapons and again it should be more complexed, not just "this is best AR" but maybe so that slow firing rate but more dmg, while another one wil plenty of ammo low dmg, but very accurate. Or maybe even a AR with better zoom in order to take out enemies at long range but low ammo clip.

- HUGE expansion! Awakening is greate, but ME must be better, AND with backwards compability. Im fine if they do not add new things or improve something. Hell, they can even use same objects for maps. Storry and quests that counts for me. If it will be either more content but less new things or more beautiful locations with less content. Then I would rather take more conetnt.

- DLC that provide more intel on collectors and protheans (how they were before they were transformed and how their last stand was)

- DLCs (many of them) that give us cooperation with Council as a SPECTRE. (*blinking to BW and hinting to give us a chance to return to loving arms of the Council and continue being paladins of galactic justice in ME3*)

- DLC where we can possibility (if we want to) to ****** of cerberus and TIM.

I agree, Zaeed and especially Kasumi seem like they would be amazing characters to speak with in the normal fashion.  Random quotes from them is alright, but takes away from the feeling of an actual dialogue you have with the other teammates.  I was about to say Kasumi as a love interest, but then I realized her passion for her previous lover would sort of kill that vibe.

Regarding Liara, it would be amazing for an expanded dialogue tree in which she describes the events of the comic mini-series.  Now it wouldn't be a problem since they've all been released, I imagine this is why it wasn't included in the initial launch of ME2.

Two more squad mates, Liara dlc, probably more weapons and armor, another Firewalker pack, and alternate appearance packs.
