Hello, I notice then when I'm using my own edited dialogs, I'm losing animation and sounds.  I only want to do some minor changes.  But the files in the database are no complete.  Do you know where and how with can extract those files from the game data ?

Thank you !

The dialogue files should be complete, or at least the ones i've tweaked so far were. Do you remember to "export without dependent resources" the dialogue files you change, after you do your changes and save them?

Yes, I always do Export without dependent resources. But I'm losing sounds and animation. I don't understand.

I'll explain how I'm working :

1) I duplicate the dialog file.

2) I save this file adding new to the name.

3) I'm editing the new file.

4) I save the file.

5) I do export

Maybe I should not create a new file. Maybe it is my problem. I'll try that.

Well I think it depends how you edit the file. Animations and sounds (via cutscenes) are assoicated to specific lines of dialog. So if you edit or delete a line of dialog you may be removing the associated animations or cutscenes.

If you duplicate the dialog without editing it, do you still have lost animations and sounds?

Unless i'm mistaken the duplicate of a file isn't used by the game unless you specifically change things to point to the duplicate rather than the original file -- the game uses the name of file to determine what it should open, so the duplicate with different name should be pretty much ignored.

Given this losing the sound and animations sounds rather bizzare.
