I've created a few set-ups for the coalecsed.ini file for
anyone who wants a particular setup. If anyone is interested, let me know what
you'd like and I can make the file for you.

Here's what can be
done:

- Different weapons layout for a class that would not typically get
a certain weapon, or any particular weapon (or custom layout) you'd want for
that class.

- All upgrades given at the start of the game, making all of
your weapons maxed. You'd notice that any weapons upgrades and other upgrades
would not be able to be picked-up as you encounter them, since they would be
maxed out.

- Move twice as fast, twice as slow, or move
normally.

- Have nearly unlimited Storm speed.

- Have
nearly unlimited shields and health.

- Different outfits for armor and
casual wear.

- Biotic/tech powers could be made to different power levels
from twice as powerful to instant kill.

- Make Insanity difficulty twice as hard.

I can
make this with all or one, or a combo in this list. Feel free to post back and I
will set up a file for download.

could you make it so that i could change settings if i didn't want one or the other added to my character in the coal file? I don't know how to edit it without it making me uninstall and reinstall it.

(a reaaaaal pain)

I saw various things about using ruby files to patch the edited coal file but thats about as far as i got to understanding how it all works, since i dont want to add much (seeing as i used gibbed's save editor to give myself another "retrain powers" power, since i cant have 9 powers but only 8 total. I wanted to be able to regularly be able to use other classes powers without being their class, such as using Lift from the Adept class. since it's how i got my "combine multiple biotic powers 20 times" achievement (freedoms progress, the first big door, on insanity mode, just be an adept character, and run to the left for cover and while the 2 LOKI mechs across the screen are shooting, select pull for me and jacob. then die intentionally and do it 10 more times since it's hard to get it done otherwise(i did the same thing on both mechs on the ledge there)). i just wish i knew how to also legitly (and yes i want to make shepard haul ass twice as fast when in insanity mode and i have a krogan charging at me. I could go on and on about what i want but i'll just stop talking here. >_<

You can download and use a coalecsed editor (and it works great as well) from here:

http://social.biowar...t/1854/#details

If you are worried about messing up your coalecsed file, copy and paste the one you like now in another location. if you don't like the results of modifying your file, you just replace the modified version with the one you saved elsewhere.

If you need help, post back or if you want specific changes let me know.

Rather than setting up a file, could you also post the tweaks? I have made a lot of changes to my ini, and I would not want to see them go away. Specifically, I am interested in the different layouts, having the upgrades at the beginning of the game, changing movement speed, and modifying biotic/tech powers.

I could post them here, but you would need a reliable editor to make them work. Simply adding them to the file without building them properly will make it crash. Downloading and installing the Coalecsed Editor from the previous link I posted works awesome. As I told the previous poster, you should (always) make a backup of your original (or the one you like now) ini file and save it in another location, just in case. If I post them, you need the editor as the foramt simply adds the command as a binder, not an actual build. Let me know and I will post them and describe waht they do. I can also give easy instructions on how to give alternate weapons to yourself or to your squad-mates by using the editor.

I dont understand the editor(cant find any tutorials), so Im looking for help. I dont understand what Im supposed to do in this editor... For instance I would like to get casual-wear on regular missions functional like the regular armor WITH shields, but I have no clue what Im supposed to do. I found the [SFXGame.SFXPawn_Player] and there's 4 "casual appearances" with a code each. What now? Am I supposed to rewrite something in this code or paste something in the clipboard workspace below it or paste something in the "export me2mod"?

Halp a noob out plox.

No problem, but you definitely will need an editor, like the ME2Coalecsed Editor or Notepad++, otherwise, attempting to change the line-items yourself within the file will almost always cause it to crash when trying to open it. Here are a few to use.

If using the editor, click on the BioInput tab scroll down and find "SFXGame,SFXGameModeDefault" and just right click on that line and choose "Add Settings" then "New Single Setting" and copy and paste this into the pop-up box and OK out.  Once you've added or modded any of the setups I gave, go to the toolbar menu, click on "Commands" then click on "Rebuild Coalecsed" and all is well. You will need to restart ME2 for it to take effect. You can also change the input to any key on your keyboard you see fit (e.g. change F1 key to Tilde if you want).

You can also change the settings I have here to your liking. Like I have Shepard setup to 500 on health which makes her invincble. 10 is the max getting all of the upgrades in the game. You could change it to 20 if you like or 50. Do the same for shields as well.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All non-heavy weapons maxed and available (this will only work if you already have a save where the weapons are unlocked. You'll notice in the game that you won'e be able to purchase or pick-up upgrades for these weapons since they are maxed:

Bindings=( Name="F1", Command="setintbyname Tec_AssaultRifle 10 | setintbyname Tec_AssaultRifleR1 10 | setintbyname Tec_AssaultRifleR2 10 |  setintbyname Tec_AutoPistol 10 | setintbyname Tec_AutoPistolR1 10 | setintbyname Tec_AutoPistolR2 10 | setintbyname Tec_HeavyPistol 10 |  setintbyname Tec_HeavyPistolR1 10 | setintbyname Tec_HeavyPistolR2 10 | setintbyname Tec_SniperRifle 10 | setintbyname Tec_SniperRifleR1 10 |  setintbyname Tec_SniperRifleR2 10" )

Max health and shileds. You'll notice in the game that you won't be able to purchase or pick-up
upgrades for these since they are maxed. These settings will also affect (some of) your squadmates shields and health, but it will affect all of the mates powers, making the game unreasonably easy:

Bindings=( Name="F7", Command="setintbyname Tec_BioticUpgrade 500 | setintbyname Tec_BioticR1 5 | setintbyname Tec_BioticR2 5 | setintbyname Tec_ShepardHealth 500 | setintbyname Tec_ShepardR1 5 | setintbyname Tec_ShepardR2 5 | setintbyname Tec_Shield 500 | setintbyname Tec_ShieldR1 5 |setintbyname Tec_ShieldR2 5 | setintbyname Tec_TechUpgrade 500 | setintbyname Tec_TechR1 5 | setintbyname Tec_QuarianShields 5 | setintbyname Tec_TechR2 5 " )

Weapons maxed with all heavy weapons unlocked:

Bindings=( Name="F10", Command="setintbyname Tec_AssaultRifle 10 | setintbyname Tec_AssaultRifleR1 10 | setintbyname Tec_AssaultRifleR2 10 | setintbyname Tec_AutoPistol 10 | setintbyname Tec_AutoPistolR1 10 | setintbyname Tec_AutoPistolR2 10 | setintbyname Tec_HeavyPistol 10 | setintbyname Tec_HeavyPistolR1 10 | setintbyname Tec_HeavyPistolR2 10 | setintbyname Tec_SniperRifle 10 | setintbyname Tec_SniperRifleR1 10 | setintbyname Tec_SniperRifleR2 10 | setintbyname Wpn_GethPulseRifle 1 | setintbyname Wpn_HeavyPistol2 1 | setintbyname Wpn_AutoPistol2 1 | setintbyname Wpn_AssaultRifle2 1 | setintbyname Wpn_SniperRifle2 1 | setintbyname Wpn_SuperSniperRifle 2 | setintbyname Wpn_SuperAssaultRifle 2 | setintbyname Wpn_GrenadeLauncher 1 | setintbyname Wpn_MissileLauncher 1 | setintbyname Wpn_CryoBlaster 1 | setintbyname Wpn_ParticleBeam 1 | setintbyname Wpn_NukeLauncher 1 | setintbyname Wpn_Flamethrower 1" )

This will give double speed, regular speed or slow motion. Also God mode and instant cooldowns on powers. I made these line items so you can add them as you please..

Bindings=( Name="NumpadZero", Command="God", Control=False, Shift=False, Alt=False )
Bindings=( Name="NumpadZero", Command="God 0", Control=True, Shift=False, Alt=False )
Bindings=( Name="NumpadOne", Command="ENABLEPOWERCOOLDOWN 0" )
Bindings=( Name="NumpadTwo", Command="ENABLEPOWERCOOLDOWN 1" )
Bindings=( Name="Multiply", Command="SloMo 1" )
Bindings=( Name="Subtract", Command="SloMo 0.5" )
Bindings=( Name="Add", Command="SloMo 2" )

If you want unlimited storm speed, open the editor go to the BioGame tab, then scroll dow to SFXGame,SFXGame and expnd it. Go down to the (which should be) the last four line items and makes these changes in the editing window on the top right.

StormRegen: change to 1.0
StormregenNonCombat : 1.0
StormStamina: 900.0
StormStaminaNonCombat: 900.0

If you want alternate weapons for yourself or your squad-mates, use the editor and go here:

Go to the BioGame tab, scroll down and expand SFXGame,SFXPlayerSquadLoadoutData. You are listed as PlayerLoadoutInfo and the Squadmates are listed as HenchLoadoutInfo. Click on the one for your class (you'll notice each player info is under each class of Adept, Sentinel, etc. In the editing window you'll see (for example)
(className=SFXPawn_PlayerAdept,Weaponclasses=(LoadoutWeapons_AssaultRifles,LoadoutWeapons_HeavyPistols,LoadoutWeapons_AutoPistols,LoadoutWeapons_SniperRifles,LoadoutWeapons_HeavyWeapons))

Notice this is for the Adpet and for my set-up, I changed it so I could have both sniper rifles and assault rifles. You can only have a max of five. Change this to your liking and your Hench as well. The hench can only have two weapons, but you can make them what you like, except for Grunt will always have the shotgun.

If it's possible I'd like to get my hands on a modded coalecsed.ini file. I had one then with all the updates to the game it borked it and I honestly have tried to get the different editors/compilers to work but to no avail.

All I want, "god" mode and unlimited ammo. Ability to carry different class specific weaponary would be nice but I'm not picky. If I could get it emailed to me that would be great.

tempest629@yahoo.com

Any help would be very much appreciated.

You could downoad the coalecsed editor and add the line items I listed stating what you want. there's also a trainer you can get from here:
http://www.cheats-tr...ect-2-8-trainer

It works pretty good as well and you don't have to edit your file to do it. I'll send you the file, but I recommend the trainer since it can do what you like and more. I'll send it anyway and so you'll know it is me, my email addy is tommie_39@hotmail.com

Instructions are in the email itself.

Still doesn't explain what I must do to get casual-wear to work like the space cowboy suit.

Ok lets see,

This is a casual clothing-code:

(Id=3,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMM_ARM_CTH_R.CTHg.HMM_ARM_CTHg_MDL",Female="BIOG_HMF_ARM_CTH_R.CTHh.HMF_ARM_CTHh_MDL",FemaleMaterialOverride="BIOG_HMF_ARM_CTH_R.CTHh.HMF_ARM_CTHh_MAT_3a"),PlotFlag=-1)

Then I make another setting below the TorsoAppearances, call the new setting TorsoAppearances . Paste the casual-clothing-code into it, then add

,GameEffects=("SFXGame.SFXGameEffect_Gear_N7Torso")

just before the

,PlotFlag=-1)

to get the shield effect.

Am I on the right track here? What else must I do in order to make the casual-clothes selectable and usable in the armor next to the regular N7, blood dragon armor etc?

I don't mess with the casual stuff, but I have a coalecse file that add all of some of them. You could also download an editor that specifically adds any armor and casual wear you want, even the hench's armor and casual wear. Here's the link in this forum for download:

Yes, if you want the armor pieces, I can do that as well.
