Hey just a heads up to Bioware, my Xbox 360 crashed and burned during my second playthrough of ME2. That's my third Xbox to RRoD. Mass Effect is already bought and paid for by Microsoft I understand, but let's hope all future Bioware titles get a PS3 version.

It will probably never happen. Basically, it would require lots of reprogramming as well as releasing a PS3 version of ME1 with it. Something I don't imagine BioWare even have the time for just yet.

They did an "ask the dev" article in Game Informer recently and a player asked that question. Will it come to PS3.



The response was, " ME is for the 360 and PC only". Plain and simple.



I seriously doubt we'll ever see it for the PS3. Its just not happening. Just like I would bet the bank you'll never see Drakes Fortune for the 360.



Its just the way it goes I guess. I have a hard time caring because I have both systems. Im a 360 fan, but my wife wanted a Blue Ray player. So now we have both. Weirdly enough I try to buy games only for my PS3 now instead, because Im worried one of these days my 360 will go out.

If nothing else, merely because it would ****** off Xbox 360 Fanboys far more than a PS3 Port ever could.

Watching the 360 Fanboy's reaction to Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop on Wii was nothing short of priceless. So much butthurt directed at a half-assed downport by Capcom.

While modding the coalesced.ini I've found PS3 data, so it may be a possiblility in the far future. <_<

This I doubt, quite highly. There would be no reason for PS3 data to be on a PC disc.

 nope they won't. and by God i hope they don't. The forum will be filled with PS3 fanboys whinging that they haven't got more DLC than the other platforms and that on their console insane is hard to play wa wa wa. Get it?
Not all PS3 owners are like that, but most fanboys/girls most definitly are.

Besides that there is MAG a game that can have 256 players in an FPS match like battlefield which xbox hasnt even come close too

Lol Battlefield is on PC and PS3 moron. And MAG sucks, and that's hearing from people who are hardcore PS3 fans.

I thought MAG was good. Did you read the dev forums? I mean looking at MW2's and Bioware's thats where all the idiots go to complain. FPS's usually have the worst case of it.

I would be disappointed if the game went to the PS3 being that ME is a reason I have kept my Xbox this long but I will definitely be angry if they release exclusive content for the PS3 version and not release it for the other versions.

P.S. I hate it how fast forums degrade into console wars.

The only problem is, what's done is done, I honestly want bioware to release dlc instead of a freakin port, no matter how awesome some people might think a port will be, it will cut down potential dlc.

You obviously know how hard it is for devs to develop even a port onto the ps3. 

If I had to pick between a ps3 port, or dlc, I would go with dlc to be honest...

Even if said DLC was just a new gun? 

BW's track record with DLC isn't that great. I'd take the port. You'd get more people into the game. No DLC would do that.

Though yes its unlikely. Doesn't mean I can't still wish for it to happen.

What really agitates me is when someone that has a ps3 and has games that are great ask for an xbox 360 exclusive, same thing with exclusive ps3 games on xbox 360, I mean we all have good enough games to the point where we don't have to care about other platform's exclusives.

Like killzone=halo, resistance=gears of war, Heavy rain=Mass effect (sort of), Splinter cell=Metal Gear Solid. So with all of these titles that are somewhat equals i don't see why we have to care about each consoles exclusives. If you want it that bad, why not go out and buy a 360 or upgrade your computer? (If you already haven't)
