I wonder if the outcome would have been different if people hadn't been maneuvering for a two-to-four-way loss. (My goal was to not see that happen.) I would have guessed Legion and Mordin to be the last two standing in the end. That would have been my preferred one-two.

I wish Thane had made it to top three but I really can't complain since I didn't expect him to hang around so long

Well, I wanted Zaeed or Detective Anaya to win and Tali to place in the top 10. So things didn't go my way (though, honestly, I love picking long shots.)
The way conversations were going at the end of the Dragon Age HoH, Capt. Obvious was looking at either a Forum Member, Forum Moderator, KotOR, or Star Wars (in general) HoH.
I think, in the polling I did, KotOR wins that selection, but the vocal people playing were pushing for a Forum Member HoH.
I'm wary of that - the possibility of hurt feelings and all - but if the only names on the list are those who volunteer for their names to be on the list, I think it'll be ok.
I'll let the Capt. take over the discussion lead and such. Capt?

Member HoH sounds stupid because we hardly know each other and everyone will heal their "friends" and hurt members they don't know.

It did win the poll behind ME last time. Personally, I don't mind a member HoH, but it isn't going to work with this crowd. Seeing how things went towards the end of this game, a member HoH is going to be so full of drama as to be unplayable. Someone, somewhere *will* take it personally even if they put their name up for consideration. Better safe than sorry, I say.

When Zaeed was proclaimed dead he was actually still dying. Gaurrus loses because when

OK then, next to Member Hurt or Heal was Staff Member Hurt or Heal. Before that comes Star Wars(Original Trilogy) Hurt or Heal and KOTOR Hurt or Heal. In other words, you guys have three choices: Member, Star Wars(OT), and KOTOR. For the record, here the poll that I made a three months back.
OR
We could discuss other versions of the Hurt or Heal game that are not mentioned in the poll and make a totally new one instead of strictly following the one that was made three months. I actually think this would be the more better option but I'll leave that up to you guys.

I would suggest a HoH game with character everyone knows about!
I'd say lets do a big cross-platform game character HoH game!
With all the big video-game stars in it! Mario, Sonic, Solid Snake, Link, Samus, Cloud, you name it, all these characters in one big HoH game!

i'd like to see a big "Bioware showdown" with all the main characters of all Bio games. Would be fun to see "Minsc vs. Anders" for example.
I think this game would be epically long, but really enjoyable. Would be nice to see the new Bioware fans getting to know the characters of past games also.

My two cents -
You are going to lose some people with ANY choice you make. Don't make your decision based on a couple loud voices. There won't be any topic that everyone will know stuff about. The newer members or anti-social members don't know other forum members well. The anti- Star Wars people are not going to know non-KotOR stuff (or even KotOR stuff, possibly.) You can't go across videos games as you will have people who've not played some of those games.
You cannot please nor include everyone.
So with the third HoH just ending, I think we've seen a gradual increase in the number of players.
My suggestion:
Capt. Obvious, run another poll. Majority votes wins, whiners be darned. You don't have to play if you don't like the topic.
I'm not sure, personally, that I want to play a "Forum Members" one for close to the same reasons Seagloom gave - someone is going to get upset, probably multiple people. But that's just my opinion.

Fine then, I'm going to do what you said and conduct an other poll tomorrow. If anybody would like to suggest a HoH version to be put on the poll, say so now. Anyway, when the poll is up and the new results are in, what's done is done. We'll stick to whatever has the highest vote. No going back. Like MerinTB said, I can't please everybody.
Also, if you have any suggestions, say so now. If you have any questions, I will answer them to the best of my abilities.

Suggestions... the obligatory Baldur's Gate series HoH. Because... c'mon, it's Baldur's Gate. 
Anything else I can think of would be too obscure for most here. I doubt a Forgotten Realms or Pathfinder HoH will be too popular, for example.
