I would still love to see the pick pocket skill fixed in DA:O
Bioware, this sucks a*s and you know it. Where are the future of your games going? is this really it? You can only suck people and their money in for so long.

Because they were not supposed to; only the weapons and armor from Return to Ostagar were specifically stated as being compatible with Awakening.
Then I was lied to. The Dragon Age wikia article on Awakenings, up until just recently, stated that Stone Prisoner items were supposed to transfer over.
Now it only says that only some items transfer over, except on the PS3. http://dragonage.wik...ins_-_Awakening
Apparently, they don't transfer on the 360 version, either.

Am I the only one having the not picking up traps issue? it's really p*ssing me off as all my rogues have the issue no matter how skill maxed or high cunning.
Some people have mentioned it, and I'm wondering if it needs to go on the bug list.
I think I noticed it ... it did seem to me my NPC rogues were finding traps all the time, and my PC rogue, never at all.
The problem with that one is there are so few traps in the whole darn expansion that it's hard to document.
But I think this may be yet another possible problem.

It's starting to look like a clusterf**k, honestly. This may also be platform-dependent.
Bioware said only RtO items would transfer. However, the StoneP items do transfer. But it seems (and maybe I'm wrong here but this is what it's looking like) maybe only on PC, not on consoles.
The WK and BD Armor items are not supposed to. They're "flagged" wrong.

Wiki articles aren't 100% accurate, since anyone can edit them. Also, what ladydesire is saying is that the community was informed via the Awakening FAQ that only Return to Ostagar DLC equipment would be transferred over, I believe. Don't quote me on that though, but I know I read that somewhere.
Anyway, I've encountered only one real bug in the game while I played through, and that was the Invisible walls, which was fixed by a patch for one of my mods. I didn't encounter any other bugs other than the increasingly longer loading times, but I don't think I was affected to quite the degree others were, since the longest loading times I ever got were around a minute or two (as opposed to a few seconds normally).
So...I didn't have too many hindrances while playing. Recently I encountered the bug where companion's personal quests won't activate, but I just use console debug commands to circumvent those. Regardless, I definitely agree that Bioware needs to do SOMETHING about the massive number of reported and confirmed bugs in both Origins and Awakening. Until then, I guess most of the PC users who were unfortunate enough to have experienced a multitude of bugs have no choice but to wait for the modding community to fix it themselves. It's likely the fastest route to a less bug-ridden game.

Speak of the devil, I JUST ran into this. My Dalish rogue could not detect any of the three traps in Bandit area of the Wending Woods, despite having Deft Hands maxed out and over 40 Cunning. The worst part is, I had respec'd Nathaniel to be a dual wielder and didn't give any ranks in Deft Hands because "My elf has that covered." No trap XP for me.
Definitely a bug.

It seems as if those who have been fortunate enough to avoid any problems often try to downplay other people's negative experiences - even to the point of suggesting buying the game to "find out for yourself" whether it will run properly. Does that seem like something a reasonable person would do? I like BioWare as much as anyone, but if there are well known issues with one of their games, why should anyone buy it before they are fixed? (And I am assuming they are going to be fixed eventually.) It almost seems irresponsible to suggest people buy this game in its current state.
Is there any reason they shouldn't wait until it is patched?

Playing as a mage and the two Blood spells that I had are "Not found" so cant use them.
My items are missing , all the special and high end items.
This is so unlike Bioware... probably the bought out by the EA suits play a big role.
I dont have high hopes now for SWTOR...

What happened to the good old days when to even get a glitch in a game you would have to put a gameshark in the console and load a whole bunch of cheats? When to crash your game youd have to hit the cartridge or spill something on it? When you had to play for 3 days straight to overheat the system enough to malfunction.

Bioware patches games like darkspawn start blights. Every 500 years or so the suddenly emerge with a new patch with very seldom fixes. Then when played again it is discovered that new glitches suddenly come forth and wont go away. So the waiting continues for the final patch to come forth and see a fixed, unbugged and refined game. ...
Wait Bioware is gonna make a game unbugged?

no gamebreakers atleast. only a few semi-big immersion breakers. not to mention characters who jerk around visibly or teleport between cutscenes. that is all i've experienced. if they were to fix such small insignifigancies before release, i'd not have a finger to put on this game. it's good.Shadowwot wrote...

It is exactly the same sort of answer that some people use when you speak about the danger of tobacco “I have never experienced any lung cancer yet although I’ve smoked all my life”.
It is not because you have finished 1/2 playground of Awakening without experiencing any major bug that that majority of playgrounds are not affected by major bugs. In one complete and one 1/2 playground of Awakening both were affected by major bugs (I manage to finish the first one only because I had kept a save done more than 1 hour before I discovered the bug).
I have played to many PC games but it is the first time that I cannot finish a game without encountering a major bug in two successive try.

Has anyone been able to complete Sigrun joining? well i can´t because it seems i´m in the last part of the game where speaking to Varel just starts the end fight, so if this is happening with Sigrun because i left her for last what if i went to the Blackmarsh last it might as well happened to Justice am i right?

The only possibility to get all your companions through the joining is to the Blackmarsh last. And that's only, because... well, Justice doesn't need to go through the joining;)
Also glad to know I'm not the only one having the not detecting traps bug. So my Arcane Warrior doesn't have a face when using combat magic and my Rogue can't detect traps....

On topic, I'm once againa lucky one, 1.03 doesn't seem to cause performance or stability issues. I still haven't played more than few hours awakening, but at that time i noticed no obvious bugs either (except Ohgren being stuck on battle pose during the Joining cutscene).
