is the Finals of the March Mayhem Developer Showdown on the Escapist.
BioWare has made it all teh way from the original 64 teams all the way
to the finals where we face Valve.

Don't get me wrong, Valve is
an awesome company, but I know that we are better AND we have the better
Community here at BioWare. I'm asking that all Mass Effect fans get out

Voting Valve was kind of a no-brainer for me. Seeing multiple threads with multiple users ignorantly bashing Valve as some kind of washed-up has-been who never deserved to be in the contest just makes me feel vindicated.

Bioware's got great games, after I'm done writing this post in support of Valve, I'm going to keep working on something like my 6th character in Dragon Age. But I made my vote on quality over quantity. There's lots of fun to be had in a Bioware game, but none of it is as exhilirating, innovative, hilarious or sublime as something like Valve's woefully short Portal.

I couldn't vote for one over the other. I like both BioWare and Valve a lot. What I did was I voted for BioWare on the forum, and Valve on Twitter.

There were bashers on both sides..I followed that thread most of the day.  It originally started out as an honourable gentleman's duel.  

Then the trolls waltzed in and..the flame wars began.   Its fairly quiet there now...I guess because most of the trollers have gone to bed.
