Bwahaha! Now I know that being the First Enchanter has its benefits, lol.
Funny that in the game Anders says that he always hated Irving.

After you meet that ugly ex-girlfriend of Anders (an elf, I forgot her name), he says a random phrase (when the dialogue is over), and one of them is about the First Enchanter. I don't remember it all, but it ends with "I always hated that guy". Actually that phrase got me puzzled, because I always liked Irving, even though he tried to manipulate my PC to ruin Lily's life.



If you want to get it yourself, you need to make a save before talking to that elf, and then replay that conversation a few times and listen to what Anders will say in the end. You may also try different dialogue options.

I shall do this in my playthrough. I always had Irving liking Anders, even before deciding on the ending of Ties, I thought that he probably reminded him of himself when he was young - to get to First Enchanter he would have had to be pretty kick arse .

I think Irving may like Anders, but it won't stop Anders from hating Irving, because 1st Enchanter represents authority but then he allows templars to do a lot of unjust things to mages, especially apprentices. Maybe he tried to use Anders in his games, like he used PC, Lily and Jowan. Maybe he allowed to tranquil a friend of Anders or allowed templars to kill someone he liked.

 I like new chapters. Hehe, I think it would  have been fun if Nate and Maeve started dating. Nate needs some love too, and Anders' reaction would have been amusing to observe.  :innocent:

I hope you and your family will recover soon. I'm ill too, I wish I could ask Anders to heal me, because my physician looks like Flemeth and I'm afraid she may turn into a dragon and eat me. 

P.S. lol, have you seen this?
It's funny that this merchant and Anders' stepfather has the same name and this guy was also voiced by Greg Ellis.

See, all these things I didn't KNOW when I called him Felix . I never paid attention to what that merchant's name was. Lazy fanfic researcher here! Maybe I'll have to have the two Felixs meet at some point!

Sorry for delays. Everyone in my house is coughing at the moment - or clingy - or both. I've spent the last three days stuck on the couch watching Pixar movies and Playschool. My brain is mush.

 lol, the line about mages' cowls made me giggle. Even showed it to my friends, we all find it hilarious

It's getting interesting. Anders' school for future parents. I don't think people of Thedas are ready to be more tolerant towards mages. As Niall said: "They don't want to". Really, I think people love when they can have someone to blame. And mages are so easy to blame for everything from Blights to bad weather.

I agree. But the Chantry are the only ones telling everyone who to blame at the moment. Maybe if a few people start blaming the Chantry instead mages will have an easier time .
