I swung by to say the same thing! Competence porn, indeed. 

And I think you're doing an excellent job with Aedan. His story is full of him being cruel in big ways, but his characterization is so clean and elegant that he never comes across as cartoonish or over the top.

Since I'm reviewing Shades two chapters at a time these days, I feel obligated to trundle over here and make eyes at you. Everything is coming together, and I'm getting so excited at all the stuff happening and how did the Vigil not explode filled as it was with so very much awesome?



And please tell me Morrigan and Anders run into each other, because the thought of him hitting on her (and her shutting him down...or leading him on, then shutting him down) is making me lightheaded with glee.

Oh! I hadn't planned on them meeting, but now I so have to arrange it... Next chapter was going to be Alistair POV but I could probably pop a little Morri in there - all in the interest of Anders having fun.... if not I'll do a one shot of it for you .

You know what, I would TOTALLY be doing a prompt that meant EVERYONE had to write/draw something about Anders and Morrigan... I'd love to see how everyone else treated it.

Heh. I was actually thinking something more along the lines of Anders in Origins (not just as an LI, either, although I would totally draw the Alistair/Zevran/Leliana Lonely Heart's Club Sadness Time if I could). It might be fun to write Anders interacting like a normal companion.

There was a "what if" challenge on Deviant Art and I was so going to do Anders as The Warden, but then I realised I wouldn't be happy unless I did a full length Origins fic. So I didn't. Then Sarah did it in one of her prompt responses - that was gorgeous.
