I've had a few dogs... my favorite names, though, were Biggs and Fluffy.

Mine's called Occam. As in Occam's razor, eliminates unnecessary entities.

I named my mage's dog Mouse. It was funny to me on a couple of levels.

The first was Darwin, after my own. And then all but the latest were named Puppy. The last I didn't get the opportunity to name, I think because of a mod.

I named him Conan. It sounds barbaric (yes, I know, no need to go there) which is good for a war dog and I think the name fits in with the other names in the DA setting.

That was on my main, 'canon' playthrough. Every other time he was just "dog".

I had different names for every character.

Hopper, Cujo, Fang, Kratos, and Sabretooth

A variety of names were used, my main playthrough I named "Rabbit" however. I forget who that originated from (one of the writers I think) but that's what many people called him back before the games release, on the original forum.

My latest city elf broke tradition with the dragon names to name her dog Carak, elvish for fang.
