I've been taken to naming mine after the Stark kids' direwolves from A Game of Thrones. For my main character it's Ghost, but for others it's been Greywind, Nymeria, etc. I suppose one day I'll have to get to "Shaggydog".

I think next time I'm gonna call him Fluffy because of the pseudo-psychological "boy named Sue" sort of effect. Imagine your peers were killed and ripped apart by a dog named Fluffy, not an ego booster whatsoever lol.

OH GOD was it hard to name my dog on EACH playthrough (total of 6, 2 of them currently playing)
