I want to look at ost101d in the level editor to see how they implemented the ambient lighting, but when I use File->Open on ost101d.arl the system tries to load a GFF editor and gives me an Out Of Memory error. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks.
Anyone know how to get a demo area layout file into the level editor?

As far as I can tell, you don't. ARL files are "cooked" resources (similar to nss -> ncs) and can't be opened in the toolset, and BioWare has not provided any sample lvl files with the toolset.
