Thanks. Read my fan fiction. It has only three main characters in it and no Tali.

I'm conflicted. On the one hand, I was part of an epic struggle to get here, and on the other the only reason I am here is because humanity sucks.

Yeah, Xen is dangerous.
See, none of the quarians really want any beef with the geth; even the quarians in favor of war. They just want their home back, and the pro-war ones feel the only way to get it back is via war (And really, that is the geth's fault. In three hundred years, they've done nothing to communicate to the rest of the galaxy that they're in favor of peace; in fact, they've done the opposite by being hostile to anyone who enters their territory).
Xen on the other hand, sees the geth as a resource; as something to be reclaimed and exploited. She's more interested in reclaiming them than reclaiming Rannoch.
Yeah, even Tali thinks Xen's bat**** insane and she's hardly a proponent of peaceful relations with the geth (though you can swing her more that way with the right touch).
I'm thinking that your decision on the Legion/Tali conversation is going to have an impact on Mass Effect 3. Maybe not a huge impact, like win or lose type of thing, but I'm sure it will definitely play a role in how the geth/quarian conflict comes to an end. Although, honestly, it's hard for me to see the quarians winning, in spite of their substantial military prowess.
Honestly, it never made sense to me really that all of the geth wanted to kill organics. After all, they were completely hidden away for a good three centuries before Saren and Sovereign came along, and seemed not to really be bothering anyone. Xenophobic, I could buy. Genocidal? Well, not so much, at least not following the Morning War (anybody remember what the quarians call that?).
Funny thing is, I could see the quarians and geth becoming important - if reluctant - allies in centuries to come if they came to a reconciliation. The geth in particular seem, if Legion's anything to judge by, completely fascinated with the quarians or, as they call them, the creators. Their desire for peace almost seems less politically motivated than it does out of a desire to grow closer to a distant parent.
