Have you seen the Alien vs. Predator film, the first one? That drab piece of celluloid suddenly becomes so much more interesting when you think of it as an adaptation of At the Mountain of Madness. The creature from The Thing can be thought of as something of a shoggoth. Any story of isolated towns with hostile denizens can be connected to Lovecraft.NuclearBuddha wrote...
It's one of life's cosmic ironies that one so ignored during his lifetime has become so influential, to the point where some don't even realize how he's affected their work.
Him and Poe. I hope that wherever they are, they feel vindicated.

It's unfortunate that we don't have a lot of indication about what quarians consider art.
Infuriating, to say the least.

It's funny how many times the game mentions quarian art and music (I think more than any other race, of course that might just be me being biased), but we've yet to really see any examples of either.

As I recall, Tali herself found the miniature mass relay in front of the Citadel tower to be an interesting sight. Or she could be one of those quarian modernists.NuclearBuddha wrote...

I actually completed the game on insane as a soldier without the soldier bonus weapon. I used the vindicator. Had to switch to shotgun at close range but and medium-long with AP ammo it worked really well for meAndaius20 wrote...

AP ammo + Adreniline + Widow + Headshots has always worked great for me
I opted for the Revvy, as thats the soldiers "bonus weapon".
I modded the vindi to actually shoot 5 round bursts liek it says in the info.

Ah, 'The Thing'. There's a movie I will, for some reason, never get bored of. Now I have an excuse to watch it again.

I wouldn't be surprised.
I'm most intrigued by the prospect of quarian music.

Mournful a capella music.
And that stone tablet in Hock's vault that's just text.
The designs on hoods and thigh panels could be quarian art, but it's not clear they make that themselves.

Mouth of Madness is quite good, for what it is. It definitely captures the "reality as you understand it is a lie" horror that HPL liked.Azint wrote...

I would think that they would. If they didn't make their own suits, then I wonder who would.
I mean, would they even trust another species to craft a suit that must fit each of their unique body structures perfectly while also sealing them off completely from all contaminates?
It's possible, but to me at least it just feels unlikely.
If I had to take a wild guess, I'd say that there are quarians who spend their lives training to become suit crafters and are probably highly regarded among their people because of the seriousness and skill of their work.
