Really? I seem to recall a few people who romanced Tali partly in hopes of seeing her face. Though - it seems you are saying that it may have been in a factor in ME2, but isn't anymore/won't be in ME3. And you do bring up some good points. I'm close to 50/50 on this one.
I've never seen that as a reason personally. I'm sure there's someone who romanced her for that reason, but hard to see that being anything more than a tiny minority.
I just see Tali now as an incomplete character. She has a face, and by all accounts, we have seen it. Shep saw her for her, romanced her, and she took off her mask for him. The fact that the camera panned doesn't mean that not showing it again adds anything to the romance or character. I just see it as an opportunity to project a fake face onto her. Nothing I'm interested in doing.
