tali to me (and i believe to many people) represents any and all things we want to see in a woman in our life. she represents the good in all people, selflessness, humility, and loyalty. but shes also flawed, as we all are, this makes her exceptionally appealing

The Cerberus Daily News did a fine job of showing us a different side of Turians with the scuffle on Taetrus as well.

My hope is that some of the news about Taetrus or other Turians news will show up somehow in ME3 - that, or it's an indication that we are going to get more of an insight into the Turians in the final game. I do think though that the Salarians need the insight the most.

It's just that the turn she did was based on the events in a comic book. Which didn't catch her character, either.

I really want to rant about their failure to understand how to design a good comic book. But talk about derailing a thread.

It seems they did, yea. I still maintain that Ashley was prejudiced though. It's one of her character flaws. I have met some Ashley fans who deny this and insist that she is not prejudiced but simply...cynical.

Also, I vote the Mass Effect 3 CGI teaser is the following:
-We start at the floor, at Tali's feet, she's not wearing her metal boots, but still what appears to be her envirosuit, her third toe is wiggling, very cute.
-As the camera starts moving up, we see more of the lower portion of her suit, she's sitting on a chair, apparantly the camera is under a table at this point.
-We keep moving up, the upper portion comes into vision, but oddly, the arms appear to be cut off, revealing what seems to be -insert your colour of choice- skin.

-Slowly, the camera moves up further and zooms out, revealing her beautiful, CGI face in it's full glory.

"What?" I like slapstick Tali, in fact that's something I'd like to see in ME3, a quarian comedian; maybe doing standup at a club on the Citadel: "So, are my suit's tempreature sensors failing, or is it hot in here?"

In ME1, when you talk to Charles Saracino on the Citadel, and if you have Ashley and Tali with you, Ashley will defend Tali when Saracino insults aliens and she confirms a friendship between the two.

Ashley's actual line was "I can't tell the aliens from the animals" and I'm pretty sure it wasn't a positive connotation.

I should probably check the Wiki first, but I do believe that we get a glimpse of Garvug in ME2. (ETA: Another Cerberus Daily News story) I don't know if we'll hear references to Taetrus, but might be interesting if we meet General Partinax.

I'd love to know more about the salarians. There is something so gleefully sinister about a people that like to know more than they will ever let on. Until they kill you.

Current Migrant Fleet situations I probably wouldn't want to know in too much detail. Seeing the activities of one ship maybe. If they dove into the meaty stuff with quarians, I'd go further back in Migrant Fleet history or even the Morning War.

I find a certain appeal to thinking that 200 years ago, the quarians might have come close to settling a new homeworld until politics and events squashed the attempt.

like so many other humans in the galaxy, but I don't see her as prejudiced she just have the wrong view on things.

Agreed.  This thread is full of cliques. Also I prefer more casual and humorous discussion when the more serious posters are not around.

Well, yeah...but the Advertisement spin is what's funny about it. Ashley's elevator chit-chats are the most revealing/surprising, to me at least.

I cant help imagine Female Salarians as like the gigantic Broodmothers from Dragon Age. The Salarian culture seems to me as matriarchal.
