I think the costume came out very well. Wonder if she's walking around in that costume on the convention floor today. 

If she is, I feel sorry for her, because she's probably going to be groped by lots, and lots of guys and girls.

I ultimately didn't go 'cause it's not really about comic books anymore. Better luck if I went to the smaller conventions. Cosplay's going to be at all of them, though.

SDCC hasn't been about comics for years now, hell, now it isn't even about fantasy, sci-fi, or superheros anymore.  They have panels for every TV show and movie coming out in the next year, regardless of its relation to supposed "geek" properties.

Would have been funny as hell if it was though.  Martin Sheen, star of such films as Apocalypse Now and an Emmy Award winning actor for his role on The West Wing, is now reduced to playing the real-life version of a video game character he voiced on stage at CC for rabid fanboys.

This is also true. She was almost as emotionless as Hale.

This wasnt a proffessional play of Midsummer night's dream. This was just a bunch of fans going on stage and doing it.  Why judge them so harshly?

EDIT actually, not being able to punch someone in the face is the reason it's magnified x10(00).
