The only time I didnt romance Tali was when I was FemShep, and that wasnt for a lack of trying. Ever since Tali figured out I was hitting on her as FemShep, theres been this wierd sexual tension between us. And not the sexual tension like you see in movies where 2 schoolgirls are exploring their sexualities, I mean the same sexual tension when that ugly friend of a friend of yours starts making passes on you.

EDIT: I broke Thane's epileptic space-lizard heart and romanced Kelly.

So, you're suggesting that I should waste a playthrough on getting Tali exiled, deny her the hug, and/or skip the romance completely, just because I'm curious of what she has to say about it?

I figured out what I did wrong, I had Tali in my squad along with me. I shoulda taken Grunt or Zaeed

everone is intitel to their appinion and we choice to romance Tali and no one else.

Nothing wrong with hugging a friend.  Even if you desperately want it to be more than that.
