I have a very dark sense of humour.

I found Heart of Darkness to be humourous if that helps.

Yeah.

I like the direction Jones and I are taking with it. I'm looking forward to the ending, at any rate. These next few chapters, though, meh, not so much.

Ending is gonna be something special, I hope. ^_^

Iam increasingly of the opinion that you guys should write and release the most painful chapters all at once so we can read through it all at once and get to some good old Daro Xen style vengeancePosted Image

People called my one short story funny. I'm not sure if they meant it was humorous or just strange.

Now no need to do that. I am actually a very nice person. It was just taking 4 years of honors english in High School and dissecting everythig that we read that developed my sense of humor.

No worries. I for one understand dark humor.

Not sure I'd apply that to Reckoning...

But, still. I'm glad you like the story.

It was moreso the ironies of how the "civilized" people were more savage than Those they actually labled as savages.

As we approach 10100 pages, this seems as appropriate a question as any: Were you guys surprised when you discovered Tali's popularity? I know I went through ME1 assuming Tali was probably the least popular squadmate and that us Talifans were a tiny minority. She wasn't a LI and her personality was less overt than Wrex or Garrus'. It really came as a shock that she was the breakout character.

Depends on who you are. Humor is based on perspective. It's not objective. Ever read watchman?

The Comedian found humor in the worst places.

Oh I can be patient, I would just prefer to get the brutal bits over with and get on with some Old Testament style punishing of the wicked.
But I can be patient, after all vengeance is a dish best served cold.

I was surprised initialy at her popularity before I played the game, but afterwards, I totally see why she is so popular.

A little. I was, more than anything, happy. I saw the massive support she had, and It made me happy knowing that Bioware loves their fans, and if they asked for Tali to be a LI, she'd be a LI. It made me very excited.

I have not read it, though I have been compared to Rorschach from watchmen if that is what you are talking about.

Indeed and while I love the character Rorshack was hardly any better, didn't he say something along the lines of the comedian violating ms jupiter was simply a laps in judgement on the part of a true patriot or some BS?Posted Image

I had no clue what they were talking about. I had to look it up the first time. I don't read many comics, I thought they were calling me an ink blot.
