I love the platforming with the Hammerhead, but the combat is awful.

This is strange thing for me to agree on, but there you have it.  I felt pretty awesome bouncing from lava floe to lava floe, vacating each just before it sank.

But it sucks firing off 50-some missiles while dodging furiously just to take out a single turret.  The missiles need to do far more damage, period.

I haven't spent my money to play a platform game. VERY disappointed in every aspect with the hammerhead. Of course, that is my opinion.

It is your quite well your opinion. If there was a "Take Tali on a Date" DLC, you would buy it and enjoy. While I enjoy her character, but I didn't buy a ME2 for a dating sim.

I know. Though technically, they saw the firewalker DLC as a paltry offering of the $15 Cerberus Network thing.

Zaeed, Firewalker, Eviscerator/Cerb Assault Armor, Arc Projector, Collector AR/Armor...

Am I forgetting anything else that was free on Cerberus Network?  Because that's looking pretty good for $15 (if you didn't just get it with the game).

The Collector stuff came with the Collectors edition of the game(I see what you did there Bioware). The Cerberus Network also had the Normandy crash site, although that was pretty meh.

Collecter AR/ARMOR is if you get the Collecters Edition. Besides that, I'm pretty sure that's it.

Blood Dragon Armor is free...kind of.
And then there's the Normandy Crash Site. (Which people also b!tched about, because it had no action)

Ah, okay.  But I think my point still stands.  I think CN was a pretty good deal.

Unless they somehow fix the combat, I'd rather the Hammerhead be strictly platforming/driving, or something like in the Overlord DLC where I had to evade the huge turret's area of fire (not sure what you'd call it...puzzle?).

I left out Blood Dragon, since you had to have the other game or whatever.

But I did forget the Normandy Crash Site, which was something else that I'm irritated to see complaints about.  I thought it was very eerie and more than a little poignant.

It's a funny thing that people complained about it. Had CN not been included - people would not **** about not having enough content, or that $60 was overpriced.

Collecting dogtags was a bit irritating though, and felt like rather useless filler. Gave me something to do, but it also took me out of the immersion. Just how do single dog tags magically end up in boxes like that in a crash site?

Oh, yeah, I was just about to comment on that:  they've done a couple entertaining things with "boss" fights, like the geth cannon you're talking about.

Heck, the upload sequence at the end of Overlord was pretty innovative, I thought.

I fail to see your connection between the two.  The discussion was referrencing the Hammerhead.

The second time I played through, I would agree with you.  However, the first time through I was just immersed in the mission, wandering around, looking at all the scenery while I picked up the stuff.  It really is a very picturesque place to have died horribly.

I agree. The geth cannon fight was actually pretty funny. They should still up the damage on the HH missiles, though.

But I can't see the problem with the uploading sequence. If it succeeded, what would happen? I don't think EDI would be so happy about it.

Back in March, I guess somebody did a series of polls pitting all the squaddies against each other head to head in a bracket.  This was the final.  Tali tied w/ Shep.

I like how they laid out that poll with age/sex divisions. I'm interested in the results.
