Now I'm wondering about the origins of your user name.

See that guy in my profile pic?  He's the "villain" of Electric Dragon 80000V, a rather strange Japanese movie.  His name is Thunderbolt Buddha.  The name made me laugh, and I noted to my wife, "if I was a supervillain, I'd have to be Nuclear Buddha."

The asari having open nerves on their skin that alows them to "link" with eachother makes sense.

But, how they do this with other species does NOT. You'd think they'd need the same nervous set up.

It's not like they can take their tentacle things and just plug it in wherever they want.Posted Image

What you did there.  I see it.

I ever mention I hated Avatar?

Not because it's "cool" to hate it, but because I have legitimate reasons to?

Yeah. <_<

You do? Why? I haven't seen the movie, but I've heard that some people dislike the message or theme of the film.

It's basically Pocahontas, but with a bunch of extra, stupid **** that for the most part makes no sense, there's a war going on we never get any perspective on, the plot's a mess, and I find the entire premise just plain ignorant and foolish in it's narrowmindedness.

Good graphics, but everything else was just a wreck.

I'm not much of one for cosplay. Frankly? It kinda freaks me the **** out.

But I can respect anyone who puts that much time and effort into something they love. They did amazing work.

I was at Wal-Mart once when they were all Avatarded with their advertising.  My daughter pointed at one of the displays and asked, "Who's that?"

"Dirty hippies," I told her.

Later, we were at the video rental place, and she saw another advertisement for Avatar, and she said, "Look at the dirty hippies!"

That's exactly what I thought when I saw it.

"This is just like Pocahontas. All we need is a annoying comical relief and...wait. There ya go."

Nice story.
Ah, Japanese movies. So over the top & quirky (to western audiences, at least). And very amusing. Here is a parody of the eccentric characters and plots cooked up in the Land of the Rising Sun, now that I have an excuse to post it (has a bit of gore in it).

Anyway - the screenshot you posted - I don't quite remember Shepard over doing that in the conversations with Garrus. Is it the first convo?

Your daughter is an awesome human being.

You've taught her well.

I don't recall it either.  But then, half the time when I see a new angle on something I've got a hard time telling exactly where it is in the game.

Well, eventually she'll be a teen and then she'll hate and reject everything I stand for.  In the meantime, though...

It's the first convo. Shepard leans on the railing before Garrus walks into the sleeper pod bay and talks about how much he needs to kill Sidonis.

My mother did a similar thing with me when I was about three-four years old and I saw a bunch of black people.
Good thing that I had no clue about what I was talking about. Posted Image

Yes, that's how my father denounced things he hated as well.
My father was awesome, you can share that awesomeness with him.
You'll raise an awesome daughter, and she'll do awesome things, she might even grow up to become the female Chuck Norris.
