I don't know why there is ANY recoil at all in the weapons in mass effect. They're rail guns. All of them. There shouldn't be any at all because magnets are propelling the round not an explosive. So there should be zero recvoil because nothing is pushing back on the weapon.

Putting as much recoil into a weapon as what is in the weapons in ME when there is no rfeason for it to be there is a flaw. We are trying to reduce recoil not increase it.
