Faith is nice, but we want proof.

They're clearly just waiting until they need to build hype for ME3 before making the anouncements like that.  What's the point of drumming up interest for ME3 a year before it comes out when they could release ME2 dlc instead?

I don't see any possible way that we don't get the team back, but you're right, some peace of mind would be nice.

Or maybe he won't have a name at all, and Shepard suggests Newton or something (lol), I don't know yet.

Well they could make Garrus go through a completely ridiculous character change, and go from him being great friends with Shepard to instead irrationally focusing on a personal grudge that means nothing in the grand scheme of things.

That's why I think they are the most likely to return;

Tali has kept 'vas Normandy' in her name, that is a good indicator that she will remain.

Garrus really has nothinge else to do but follow Shepard.

And Legion is Shepard's only contact with the geth, they can not introduce a character like so late into the game then just write them out.

My baby?  I got my chair like 10 years ago out of some office or something, and its still as good as the day I got it.  Its good on my back, is super comfortable, and reclines.  I think it may be the first thing I grabbed if my house caught on fire
