yes but she never uses it, she has advanced weaponry and tech powers why does she need a crude knife? theres some significance to it. my fanfic will explore that. :happy:

Well in that case i see it more as a spirtiual/confrimation of adulthood type of gift. Kind of like dad giving his son his first real gun down here.

There's a very good reason: its a knife. Knives are useful. Always will be. Cutting, prying, stabbing, the uses are endless.
There's a reason marines still carry around a combat knife.
