Hey guys, I have a question regarding the Flotilla. I'm writing a chapter where one of my characters is going to have her back-story expanded upon, and I want her to have some dead-beat father who she feels obligated to make up for, hence her extremely serious/dedicated/zealotistic work ethic. Now, I don't want her father to have been exiled, since Tali said in ME2 that its been awhile since someone was exiled. I remember it being mentioned in either a game or a book that the Flotilla will sometimes "forget" the more dead-weight members of their crew on planets they passed, would using this be kosher?
Hmmm...
Seems a bit harsh, but I think it could be plausible, seeing as in ME1 the pilgrimmage is said to be a way to show that a Quarian will contribute to the community and not simply be a burden upon its resources.
Yes, it is harsh, but I'm kind of going for that. Tali worked so hard at what she did because her father was an Admiral and she wanted his respect, Regala is working so hard at what she does because she feels like she has to serve the Flotilla twice, once for her father and once for herself.
Then personally I'd go for it. Forget the dead-weight!
