Most of her suit seems to be 'soft'. The shin guards seem the only logical place to mount a permanent sheath.

It's only Grunt that even has a melee attack, right?Tairis Deamhan wrote...
So very true.
It's a tool and weapon of last resort. And considering there is next to no real melee combat in ME, wasn't worth coding something in to let her use it.
Not counting Kasumi's shadow strike, of course.

It really just depends It's safer to have it conceled in a boot than openly on your waist.

I wouldn't exactly call it a concealed weapon.

In ME1, everyone had the standard melee attack. It was just stupid to remove it. I want it to make a comeback in ME3. I want my squadmates to be able to fend off some enemies at close range by themselves.

So far I've gotten the obvious: purple dressings are made of a thick cloth, shinguards are metal, faceplate is metal and glass. I'm having trouble figuring out what the rest is.

Are there a bunch of preset material options in whatever you're using? If so, maybe we'd do better picking from that list.JeanLuc761 wrote...
After struggling for a little while, I could use your guys help on something. I'm trying to figure out what Tali's suit is made out of so I can better simulate the materials, but I'm having trouble.

A thin but malleable and durable rubber material.

Possibly, but that wouldn't cover her whole body. You notice her suit is divided between that greyish hexagonal material and a dark black materialAlphyn wrote...

Oh. Well, something leather-esque in thickness/flexibility (though obviously not texture) is my guess, for the bottom layer. The "stocking" layer would seem to be thinner.JeanLuc761 wrote...

I'm leaning towards the rubber, really.
