Tali hates the geth with a passion. If she proved amendable to reason, it only makese sense other would fall in line, given time.

Yeah, with Shepard, Tali, and Legion's help, then some kind of dialogue could commence, but before you find Legion, any kind of peace talks would basically be impossible.

Clearly, Tali & Korris have the capacity to. No one actually knows that the Geth are peaceful besides Shep etc. It's much harder to sympathize with a war if your opponent doesn't even want to fight at all. The Geth do not operate like organics do, so as far as the Quarians they could all be programmed to hate organics.

Various reasons, really.
At first it was because "OhgodisthatClaudiaBlack?!", but her plans of "reclaiming" the geth seemed like an interesting option too (especially since I hadn't encountered Legion yet, so I didn't know about the option of peace, either) considering it'd give you both the quarian and geth armies against the Reapers.

She's the only admiral who's actually doing her job (Han and Zaal are merely using Tali for their political ploys, and Shala couldn't "give a vorcha's ass about the fleet" when Tali was involved) and she's the one who openly confirms how the other two are merely in it to convince the other quarians to go to war/attempt to make peace with the geth.
She also mockingly claims that if Tali had actually done what they were accusing her off, that she would simply be an idiot.

Being the youngest and newest admiral leaves for some intrigue too, as I'd wonder how she rose through the ranks so fast, and who came before her.
Yes, Tali claims Daro is insane because she "performed surgery on her childhood toys" (D'awwfic, here), but she shows no real signs of mental instability, and honestly, tearing up your toys out of curiosity doesn't seem to odd in my eyes. (There may be a stigma on it in quarian society though, as these toys are likely "shared")

Yes, her message after the trial may make her come off as a power hungry villain, but again, Han claims that Daro is a "very proud quarian" and "very protective of the fleet and its inhabitants". It's obvious she's doing all she can to get the quarians back in their "righteous place" in the galaxy, the moral issues of her plan I'll leave up to you. But it's something I can respect, and my renegade will definitely help her accomplish these plans.

Finally, lately, she's been pretty much the center of attention thanks to Liv 'n Rip, which lead to me having to up my image as the original "Daromancer". (Seriously, I recall Riptide's severe disapproval of my suggestion of her as an LI quite a while back before he worked on her fic, now he's in it just as much as I am. )

That's essentially my point. The Geth need to commit Legion towards peace talks with the Quarians. As far as what will actually happen in ME3, there's heavy foreshadowing in ME2 (and to some degree, ME1) that peace - or a direction towards peace - will be attainable. Legion will surely be required (unless they pull something lame). Tali possibly, but Legion definitely.
