Wasn't one of the original purposes of the geth to archive the ancestors in an easily accessible fashion, or am I smoking something? I could have sworn I read that somewhere.

Garrus became a leader, he was trying to be more like Shepard, and you don't see the **** he has without developing a coping mechanism.

As for Tali... two years of hard living... taking missions like Freedom's Progress and Haestrom... well... it's no wonder she was practically willing to tell the board, and her father, to go to hell. I look to Noir for the reasoning behind this.

Let's hope that'll change in ME3, now that she has Shepard, a new home and don't have to worry so much about her people.

I think they can manage one day without her.Image IPB

Simple, they created the geth so I bet they still had the original files that they have been studying for 300 years to see where they went wrong.

The geth destroyed all of the data the quarians had in the Morning War.

This I find highly unlikely and almost impossible.  But as I said before, tis just my opinion.

The quarians didn't even escape with their religion intact.  It's possible they didn't get away with much of the original information on the geth.

They escaped with ships, some were research ships, most likely all were trying to find some way to counter/shut down the geth.  Again, I find it highly unlikely they lost all that data.  I didn't say they had it all but still, enough to get something working.  Look in your old draw and see just what scraps from days gone by you find.

That sounds familiar.

Also, the geth were originally designed to look like bats, before BW thought of this quarian-geth war thing.Image IPB

Yeah, but her attitude has grown exponentially.

Which I also liked. I liked her defiance to Admiralty Board, for instance. She was a bit ****y to me on the Alarei, but I can understand that since she was going through a lot of stress.

I suppose it was for the best. Need to keep him away from Kelly.

But if he isn't at least an interactive NPC on the Normandy in ME3 I will be upset.

That brings me to another question. Do you think Tali is spiritual? It's possible that Keelah may the name of God/a deity, but I also say "Oh my God" etc and I am an atheist.

the quarians believe in there ansestors not so much gods.

Have you read the Codex? It mentions that the slavers are the only ones that even bother to leave their homeworld. That's why they all seem so racist.

Another way of looking at it is like this:  Garrus went out and saw the galaxy, and saw that it desperately needed some cleanup.

Tali went out and saw the galaxy and saw what she was missing.

Something like that. Tali got to see the hardships the galaxy had to offer, and it hardened her spirits a bit. I like it. Made her less optimistic, and more pessimstic and cynical.

Not exactly clear if she was in charge on Haestrom.  There appeared to be two teams, the security force of marines and the scientists.

And actually I was referring to her convo on the Alarei where she curses the pilgrimage for letting her see everything that she couldn't have.

Difficult to say.  I would suggest that quarians as a whole are not particularly spiritual.  As I mentioned, they got their religion demolished in a pretty conclusive manner by the Morning War.  Where were the ancestors?  Why was this allowed to happen?

Add into this how their religion was technologically aided in the first place.

Are you sure about that? I just looked at the codex.

In the centuries since they evacuated their homeworld, most quarians
have returned to religion in various forms. Many believe the rise of
the geth
and the destruction of their 'ancestors' were chastisement for
arrogantly forsaking the old ways and venerating self-made idols.
Others have a more philosophical outlook, believing their race
was indeed arrogant, but no supernatural agency lay behind the geth
revolt. Rather, the quarians' actions wrought their own doom. Either
way, every quarian would agree that their own hubris cost them their
homeworld.

Slavers and expelled criminals.  But yes, the average blink we see is specifically the worst the race has to offer.

Batarians are too important threat to be left behind.
They almost blew up the citadel, and most of them are enslavers.
Idk what to do with 'em, but they cant be left without a warning.
