Agreed, its my only fear for ME3.  Hopefully they realize that Mass Effect is the characters.  The plot is nothing new, you can get better gameplay in many other places, and they even minimized a lot of the rpg elements.  If ME3 abandons the characters, I see no reason to buy it.

I would hate if Garrus tried to steal Tali from me, but I wouldnt blow his head off, hes already taken around ot the face once, isnt that enough?

I don't want to get into the convo I had yesterday, but I've already solved this problem in my playthroughs.

Garrus is ME2's comic relief, how oculd  you kill the comic relief?

Garrus wouldn't try anything with Tali. It's just not in his character. He's only attracted to turians. FemShep excluded.

Dude, the shooter stuff was awesome. They just need to keep the character stuff and they're golden.

I think they'll go all out for the final game in the trilogy. If a character could have survived they'll get a kick butt story and epilogue. The LI especially are going to get a lot of work done on them, even if the majority of them can die.

True. I like shooters, too, but everything about ME3 points to less interaction, more expensive cut scenes.

But I do hope and think you're right. The LI at least will be finished well, I just wonder about balance. There really shouldn't be any ME3 LIs, I mean, there's so much they have to perfect, there are too many endings that need to be legendary. Even if they have the same game engine as ME2, it seems they would take much longer than 2012 to finish.

And I want them to take longer....for Tali's sake
