Another reason Quarians would refrain from clothing is because of the sweat that would accumulate under the suit. Humans do have more sweat glands than most animals, but Tali does make a gesture like she's wiping sweat away from her forehead when she gets nervous. Of course, this is just speculation, they could pant like dogs to stay cool, which would be unlikely, but interesting.

Serious question? Too many people here would object. I think I'm thinking of the same thing you're thinking of. Unless...no that's disgusting:sick:

Seriously. Tell me. I'm curious. :D

Nope. This has gone too far in my mind, need to avoid that line of thought now. Maybe I'll incorporate my original idea into my fanfic when my mind is clear.

I feel kinda bad for Tali fans sometimes...they get so little information to work with. At least us Garrus fans get to see a face, a neck, a vaguely-worded Codex entry... :(

But for real, quarians are vaguely (and briefly) described in Ascension. Otherwise, it's all speculative. At least with turians we have a bit of a codex entry.

But hey, fire away. ;)

I swear to God, I am being serious. (I think some here can confirm, I come into this thread about once a day. Not trolling.)

I still imagine that quarian suits have built in ways to deal with sweat.  Its too big of an issue to go ignored for so long. when the suits would be the top focus of the best quarian scientists.  Of course, that means no undergarments to interfere with the processes still.

I just find it hard to believe that they would really be nude under the suits. I want some confirmation.Image IPB

Well, let's consider the purpose of (lower body) underwear. The main reason they exist, is to prevent the outer clothes from being soiled from bodily discharges such as urine, feces, perspiration, semen, etc. Basically, they absorb that stuff so that the clothes don't have to.

A quarian suit would obviously be prepared to handle all that stuff. Underwear would just get in the way. Any kind of fabric under the suit, really, would likely impede the suit's cleansing functions.

While on the subject, a bra too would not be needed. A bra is there to provide support for a female's breasts. You can tell by Tali's model that the torso part of her suit is shaped slightly to accommodate and support her breasts.

------------
There's no way people aren't going to quote this post and giggle over some of the terminology used. <_<

Some have argued that it'd be extremely likely that quarians do have hair. Since Rannoch has no insect population, plants would be almost entirely dependant on animals for pollination. And since what little bacteria existed on Rannoch was spread mainly by the vegetation, quarians would likely have evolved hair as a way to pick up pollen, and develop their weak, but existant immune system.
Least that was the theory:?

There could have been other ways for them to transport pollen. We humans dont do that, and we have hair.
Their could be other more effective ways.

(I dont really know, but I stick with hair being a human thing)

So, on my completely absolute "Everybody but Tali and Garrus die" playthrough, I decided to put Tali in charge of the first Fire Team. Miranda decided to wage war with my choice. "She got her entire team on Haestrom killed. That's not a good track record."

To be fair, if you looked at the listed traits for all races, without seeing a picture, quarians would probably be the most likely to have hair besides humans.  On top of that, there is a good chance that Tali will be made to look attractive to humans (there are no ugly video game characters unless its intentional,) and that means hair.  And people in general want Tali to be attractive, and most like hair, and draw her as such.  I'm not saying they will have hair, and if you prefer no hair that's fine, but there is plenty of reason for most fanart to have hair.

Quarians having hair could also be a reason that aliens don't find human's hair weird (they never mention it in game at least.)  If everyone has gotten to used to quarians having hair, seeing it again with humans wouldn't be anything special.

Apparently the devs have said batarians and humans are the only races with hair, but for some reason I have yet to find said confirmation, yet it's often said that they do not have hair. I really don't care if quarians have hair or not, but I think the devs really need to do something to make the quarians look more aliens. Having a nearly identical human torso but with elongated legs and three fingered hands would really clash with how human that they may look. Hair is a very tertiary feature, a simple way to make something appear less human is to remove hair. Also take into account that hair will not grow in certain conditions, wearing the suit all the time will likely damper hair growth.
