I feel kinda bad for Tali fans sometimes...they get so little information to work with. At least us Garrus fans get to see a face, a neck, a vaguely-worded Codex entry... :(
But for real, quarians are vaguely (and briefly) described in Ascension. Otherwise, it's all speculative. At least with turians we have a bit of a codex entry.
But hey, fire away. ;)

I swear to God, I am being serious. (I think some here can confirm, I come into this thread about once a day. Not trolling.)

This is a true fact, sadly, but whatever, at least we see female quarians...

So, on my completely absolute "Everybody but Tali and Garrus die" playthrough, I decided to put Tali in charge of the first Fire Team. Miranda decided to wage war with my choice. "She got her entire team on Haestrom killed. That's not a good track record."

SHE'S BADMOUTHING TALI!

Yeah, and if Jack dies on the way to the base, Garrus is even meaner to Miranda then Jack was when she says she will lead the second team.B)

I prefer to lean heavily on the placeholder face they gave her for basic shape of her face.  You're right that we don't have much for specific features, but I think we have plenty of info to make a good educated guess what she will look like.

Besides, speculation is fun, even if that topic by now has been beaten to death and no one wants to talk about it anymore :P

No, it's $1000 with an i3 processor, windows 7 home 64-bit, and admittedly good graphics card, 3GB of DDR3 RAM, no monitor, and a 500GB hard drive.  Add to that the amount of shovelware that comes preinstalled in order to make it as cheap as it is.  Plus with tax you're really looking at a $1200 PC.  And for an entry gaming PC you should really be looking cheaper.  That Asus, the N61JV-X2, can play any game you throw at it for the next couple of years, barring Crysis 2.  It's cheap, and if you get it from Amazon you may even get it tax free, depending where you live.

I just checked it out, and found out I cant get it in canada... and laptops are harder to upgrade, Im looking more for a desktop that I can upgrade, while I have a few extra hard drives lying around so I can just slap-em-in... and I can just uninstall the shovelware...

does anyone else have any suggestions for a computer I can use as a starter, becasue what I want to do is take a starter and just upgrade it as needed...

No way man, you said it with SCIENCE! And you're right. Thing is, maybe the suit is still a little too uncomfortable..maybe they have a thin layer that keeps her from getting blisters or rashes or anything..you know..the suit is pretty tight

I don't think Tali is a very good leader. She's got a good head on her shoulders, but she's prone to getting frustrated easily and can't really get people to listen to her if things aren't optimal.

However, it is pretty messed up for Miranda to say that. What happened on Haestrom wasn't Tali's fault at all.

Some have argued that it'd be extremely likely that quarians do have hair. Since Rannoch has no insect population, plants would be almost entirely dependant on animals for pollination. And since what little bacteria existed on Rannoch was spread mainly by the vegetation, quarians would likely have evolved hair as a way to pick up pollen, and develop their weak, but existant immune system.
Least that was the theory:?

There could have been other ways for them to transport pollen. We humans dont do that, and we have hair.
Their could be other more effective ways.

(I dont really know, but I stick with hair being a human thing)

Well, with humans it worked the opposite way. As homonids, we didn't develop our hair, we actually lost the majority of the fur that our ancestors had;)

Well, let's consider the purpose of (lower body) underwear. The main reason they exist, is to prevent the outer clothes from being soiled from bodily discharges such as urine, feces, perspiration, semen, etc. Basically, they absorb that stuff so that the clothes don't have to.

A quarian suit would obviously be prepared to handle all that stuff. Underwear would just get in the way. Any kind of fabric under the suit, really, would likely impede the suit's cleansing functions.

While on the subject, a bra too would not be needed. A bra is there to provide support for a female's breasts. You can tell by Tali's model that the torso part of her suit is shaped slightly to accommodate and support her breasts.

The simple problem being; we just do not have much information to work off of. By the time Bring Down the Sky was released, the batarian codex entry was retconned. I really do hope that ME3 will reveal enough of the quarians.

Thanks, Ill try to finish up with chapter fast as possible, but it may take a wile for me to do. Gonna be first one with any actual fighting in it and will take some time wording it correctly.
