Its been very clear all along that Miranda is going to be the most highly marketed character.  Famous VA, and a hot body.  I'm kind of expecting Shep alone on the cover for 3, but if any character is there, it will be her.  Expect the commercials for ME3 to be loaded with Miranda as well. 

Tali will be the awesome character in the background.  She will get almost no publicity leading up to ME3.  As much as I like her, she isn't very marketable.  Everything that everyone likes about her is things that can't be portrayed in a 5 second window.  Tali is very likely to be the best character in ME3 again since it would be tough to wreck her character, and Bioware seems to like her, but don't expect any Tali stuff from EA and the marketing team.

True. And I don't like that kind of attention. I really am surprised because since what you say is true, you wouldn't think she had a big fanbase.

The problem is she's not..gd how do I say this...she's not Miranda. If the camera followed Tali's everywhere and then made sure to get her ass in the picture as she bends over to pick up a communication device, that's great entertainment I'll tell ya, but for Tali? Meh.

Like how Tali turns around and goes back to workin in Engineering...her posture is just so...normal, I can't describe it really, it's just, subtle.

yeah i had to get that too. it wasnt 12 mins but it was annoying. now i'm at 3% on kasumi

You're looking at this the wrong way; this isn't Tali vs. Miranda. What we're talking about is in regards to marketing. Miranda is just a more marketable character.

1) You may not have heard of her voice actor, but thousands have.

2) Miranda's personality doesn't matter for marketting. What matters is she looks good and appeals to the 18-35 male demographic; the core demographic that ME targets.

Miranda is overdone. I really don't think she's even that hot.

She's got the see-through tight clothes. The big 'donk. The massive funbags. She's just too much.



Tali is more modest. She has a beautiful personality, and doesn't need to go flaunting her body (which aint bad either).



Maybe she's not your average gamer's choice. But BioWare isn't your average game designer. Many BioWare fans love a good character as much as good action, and so many of them fall in love with Tali.
