I played ME2 before 1...hated the defaults sooooo much.
Went out and bought ME1 right after first playthrough.

Fallout 3 doesn't have anything to do with f1 or f2 except the brotherhood of steel and the enclave. But you should get Fallout 1 and 2. Very good games. Cheap too.

Anderson is actually a good person who trusts Shepard.
Udina is a dick.
You get to be a Spectre again if you chose Anderson, while Udina doesn't even let you *talk* to the council (and punishes Anderson for talking to you).

When Tali says "I'm scared, Shepard," I just want to hug her right there.
That quest was really emotional.
