Seeing as nobody on the Normandy seems to be very observant with their surroundings, what do you think some of the crewmembers reactions will be when they find out about Tali and Shep?

I imagine Garrus being a total bro about it, "Took you long enough" and high-fives abound.

i've thought about this too. most probably just wont care, joker would be joker about it, miranda will shun you.

Mordin would still offer advice.
Garrus would be cool about it.
The engineers would gossip.
Joker would listen to audio "entertainment"
Grunt would think that they were trying to kill each other.

My friends played a juvenielle "swim trunks" joke on me and then a black bear showed up
That was painful, embarrasing, horrifying and yet also amusing and strangely funny at the same time

I think generally, people want Tali to look more alien, while still being attractive by our standards.  a skin color like purple is the best way to do that.
