So you disagree with what I just posted. So you don't trust Tali more than your other squaddies.
I understand.
I'm just trying to cut this debate off graciously. Please don't be like that.
I really just want that gif, sergio

Whether or not to send Tali.
Seems like a no brainer. She's a hacking Genius capable of turning AIs against one another, and her enviro suite provides protection from the heat.

Really I basically support every ME character It easier for me to list the ones I don't.
Jacob: Boring as snot personality of dried mud.
Jack: She a psycho ****, I know she has allot baggage in her past.. but so does basically the rest of my whole crew. So no excuses for that.
Miranda: Not much hate.. more along the lines she never left a impression on me, she all way seemed like that Cerberus eye making sure the investment staying on track.
Liara: Ok this one more of a limbo.. I don't hate her or dislike her she just... to childish for me.
Everyone else I freaking loved.
Just to defend Jack a little. She has baggage, but so does the rest of the crew is unfair. Just to compare to a few random crew members.
Miranda lived a spoiled childhood, most likely getting everything that she wants, then decides around 18 that she wants her own life, so she runs away.
Garrus lives a normal life, can't decide on a true career path, settles into a C-Sec job before going with Shepard. Once he's a fully grown man, he loses his team because of his own mistake.
Mordin worked on the genophage, a decision that he has never seemed particularly troubled by up to the point where ME2 begins.
Thane (wife killed,) Samara (forced to kill daughter,) and Tali have harder lives than them, but nothing like Jack.
None of that comes close to being tortured and imprisoned since you were a kid. Her first memories are of a prison. When she finally is strong enough to kill her way out, what options does she have? She was robbed of any chance to have a normal life. She continues to get used and screwed over, until she finally ends up in cryo on the Purgatory.
Now, to be fair, she faces all these hardships, and she doesn't persevere, she doesn't become a good person despite her life. If you don't like her because of the person that she's become, that's fine. I find it a little unfair, especially when you can find out that she has another layer below that exterior, but its your opinion. Just don't compare her hardships to the other crew members.

It's really not that bad. You do comfort Tali, if only with words, and you learn quite a bit more about her relationship with her dad.

The debate was really focused on Tali or Legion. Personally, in Shepard's shoes, I trust Tali wholly and utterly. She is an electronic genius. I love her and I know she won't let me down. Legion is better used helping Garrus in the fire team.

Now that I know the 'proper' choices for all of the squad, I think I'll send Tali in this time just to see the moment that happens afterward that everyone is talking about.
Also held out doing the quarian/ volus credit chit thing so I can enjoy the extra diolog.
Gonna be fun.

I feel I should explain Jacob's placement. He's a moral guy. That means he can be expected to act in a fairly paragon manner (his current associations aside), which is what I would approve of. But I'm willing to bet he would follow his conscience ahead of his orders if it came to it. The ones above him I think wouldn't.Goat_Shepard wrote...

It's a pretty safe assumption that Shepard would say sometihng in regards to her dad, and it's also a pretty safe assumption that the upper right hand options would be nice/kind/friendly.
Nice try. No wait, it was a terrible try.
