Now who's the one who doesn't trust Tali's ability to handle situations?

Wait, so you're not denying that you believe Tali is capable of killing herself in an emotional fit? Whoa 

The only way I can see Tali ever killing herself is if it benefited others. Like, pulling a Spock to save the crew or something.

Well that's different than what you originally said.  Not liking her as she is now is a personal opinion.  I wouldn't expect everyone to like her.  I was more just stressing that she has been through much more than everyone else.  That's why I disagreed with your "so has everyone else, no excuses" line.
