That's a generic scripted event that any party member can take part of.

If Bioware was gonna make a death scene especially for Garrus, they'd probably have him facing down a legion of gunships, a thresher maw, and an army of krogan battlemasters.

And Garrus would still only lose by the skin of his teeth.

All that time with Shepard has just made him THAT BAD ASS.

She instinctively arched her back and moaned softly; it was very exciting and arousing to her for Shepard to exert some power over her like that. She pretended to try and resist by pushing against his hands, but she couldn’t even budge them.

“Mmm… looks like I’m at your mercy, Captain Shepard…” Tali said quietly; her voiced mixed with both amusement and arousal, “What are you going to do with me…?” She giggled quietly after her question, and bit her lip, staring into Shepard’s eyes.

Okay. What happened?

I blame it on playing while I was too tired.  I don't think I read any of the information or dialogue that they gave me.  I thought, infiltration, sure that sounds like Thane.  Zaeed, he seems like a badass leader, twice.  Miranda said she could handle the barrier, I'll believe her.  Grunt should escort the crew, he doesn't need to defend the rear later.  And sure, I chose Jack over Miranda in the catfight, doesn't mean that she can't help me with the reaper boss <_<

I'm just thankful that Tali didn't get taken.  I was very close to losing her

Well that's different than what you originally said.  Not liking her as she is now is a personal opinion.  I wouldn't expect everyone to like her.  I was more just stressing that she has been through much more than everyone else.  That's why I disagreed with your "so has everyone else, no excuses" line.

Well it kind of stand to a point yes none of the crew has it as bad as jack but Shepard himself background wise can have it just as bad as jack then again that the whole were paragon and renegade come into play And make it kinda moot.

Thou to be fair I think wrex has it the worse, can't be easy seeing your children die in the thousands while your people are giving up hope it not child torture.. but it, it own hell.

Comparing anyone to Shepard is unfair.  He's supposed to be that once in a lifetime person that could face hell itself and persevere one hundred percent.  If Jack could come out of her life with Tali or even Thane's personality, it would be a remarkable achievement.  One that I wouldn't expect from anyone.

Wrex is an interesting comparison.  I wasn't thinking about him since he isn't a squad member in ME2.  You could probably make the best case for him out of everyone, especially since he seems to be the most "non-krogan" in his philosophies out of his race.  I would still put Jack ahead of him personally, but that's without taking a close look at his life.

Wrex life is pretty simple.

Wrex wanted to stop warring to work breeding to try and breed the Genophage out or at the very least put there numbers back up, The warlord at the time didn't like this Wrex father, wrex father broke a golden rule and assaulted Wrex on what be "holy ground" in krogan terms, Wrex killed his father and was forced to leave tuchnka growing even more sadden over his own kind as they join merc brands only to die.

To sum it up he having to watch his people die from two fronts, killing them selves case they have no idea what else to do and then the genophage.
