I almost got everyone through.  I only killed Thane, Zaeed, Samara, Mordin and Miranda

And I got all the Normandy upgrades.  A monkey could have made better choices on the suicide mission than me :pinched:

*sigh*

Okay. What happened?

I blame it on playing while I was too tired.  I don't think I read any of the information or dialogue that they gave me.  I thought, infiltration, sure that sounds like Thane.  Zaeed, he seems like a badass leader, twice.  Miranda said she could handle the barrier, I'll believe her.  Grunt should escort the crew, he doesn't need to defend the rear later.  And sure, I chose Jack over Miranda in the catfight, doesn't mean that she can't help me with the reaper boss <_<

I'm just thankful that Tali didn't get taken.  I was very close to losing her :crying:

Wow.  It's actually kind of amazing that you managed to bag Miranda.  She's hard to kill.  You really were on a roll.

I can hang out with Garrus.  I can curbstomp Geth with Garrus.  I can dropkick Thresher-Maws in the the Teeth with Garrus.

But I can't **** Garrus.  Tali wins again.

Well, maybe you should be female?

I mean... yeah.

He lifted her arms over her head, and pressed her wrists against the wall; she was now gently pinned against it. She instinctively arched her back and moaned softly; it was very exciting and arousing to her for Shepard to exert some power over her like that. She pretended to try and resist by pushing against his hands, but she couldn’t even budge them.

“Mmm… looks like I’m at your mercy, Captain Shepard…” Tali said quietly; her voiced mixed with both amusement and arousal, “What are you going to do with me…?” She giggled quietly after her question, and bit her lip, staring into Shepard’s eyes.

Loyal Miranda = Immortal.
Unloyal Miranda = Pretty damn strong, but can't survive getting crushed.

I don't know anything about an elevator one. It's something I'm writing. That particular scene does take place in the airlock though.

Starship Troopers is one of those movies that's technically terrible, but all its negatives end up multiplying to form a positive.

In short, it's pretty awesome.

I didn't like seeing my home country's capital getting hit by a meteor though. I mean come on, how often does Buenos Aires get mentioned in movies? And they dropped a meteor on it? Argh!

Seriously... I can't bring myself to romance anyone else...

No disrespect to Thane and Paragon Jack's romances, because they're both REALLY good...

But you just can't top people you've got history with.

Comparing anyone to Shepard is unfair.  He's supposed to be that once in a lifetime person that could face hell itself and persevere one hundred percent.  If Jack could come out of her life with Tali or even Thane's personality, it would be a remarkable achievement.  One that I wouldn't expect from anyone.

Wrex is an interesting comparison.  I wasn't thinking about him since he isn't a squad member in ME2.  You could probably make the best case for him out of everyone, especially since he seems to be the most "non-krogan" in his philosophies out of his race.  I would still put Jack ahead of him personally, but that's without taking a close look at his life.

Wrex life is pretty simple.

Wrex wanted to stop warring to work breeding to try and breed the Genophage out or at the very least put there numbers back up, The warlord at the time didn't like this Wrex father, wrex father broke a golden rule and assaulted Wrex on what be "holy ground" in krogan terms, Wrex killed his father and was forced to leave tuchnka growing even more sadden over his own kind as they join merc brands only to die.

To sum it up he having to watch his people die from two fronts, killing them selves case they have no idea what else to do and then the genophage.

True, I guess he has gone through a lot of crap.  I guess the one difference there is how you feel about a person's childhood.  Wrex still grew up with a perfectly normal life for his species.  You can say it was a harder life by human standards, but Wrex isn't a human.  Jack's problems were forced on her since she could walk.  She never experienced any kind of affection or love in her life.  Hell, her only enjoyment as a kid was when she was let out of her cage to kill other kids.

I'm inclined to think the person that wanted to change things, and
faced hardships because of it was more ready for the consequences.
Being a radical voice of change is a personal choice that someone
makes, knowing the consequences.  I would think that Wrex expected to kill or be killed by his father once he made his stance.  Even if
he didn't expect it on the holy ground specfically.

Wrex had the choice to become a warrior or a krogan doctor, or a scientist trying to cure the genophage.  He chose his path.  Jack never had a choice.
