Why can't they set it up like Elder Scrolls IV did.  You make your character, and then play through the intro-level.  When you reach the end (in ME2, upon finding Miranda) you get a chance to adjust your character in any way you see fit.

Or at the very least let me have a 360 view so I could have caught his apple-sized cheek bones.

Ah. Okay.

I always use character-creators if they're available to make the main character look as much like myself as I can.

Vain? Yes, but makes the Talimancing more fun when I can pretend it's me up there.

Character creator has less detail, I also fail at custom faces. ME2 launch Trailer got me really attached to it. That look of sheer determination

I always use character-creators if they're available to make the main character look as much like myself as I can.

This is what I do. My canon Shep looks just like me. I spent about two hours with a mirror to get it right, but I'm VERY happy with the result.

You just can't get that satisfaction with Sheploo.

On another note, I always though Xen was a lot older than 34

Sounds like you're a little more dedicated than I am,
But I won't lie; I've glanced in a mirror for reference now and again.

I agree with not getting the same enjoyment. I mean, it's not a HUGE deal, but the fact is. . .I can. . .so I want to. Besides, this is as close as I'm going to come to doing anything remotely as cool.

This is what I do for my femsheps.

You really just need to spend some time with it. My primary Femshep? Totally badass looking. It took me two hours to get her right, but it was worth it. MUCH better than the default.

You just have to be willing to spend the time.
