 Think about it. Nihilus? If my memory serves me correctly, he was also a spectre at the beginning of Mass effect. Possible he was working with geth? Geth would be devoid of force, and thus not effected by Nihilus' abilities. Nihilus' ship had only very basic life support. Geth don't need life support. Perfect fit. Could avoid killing geth because they do not have midi-chlorians. Perfect sense.

That's the definition of selflessness. To forgo your own happiness so someone else can have their's. That is why Tali is the only one Shepard wants. True selflessness. A rare thing.
