ya, and unless you are stupid you will save the flotilla, extinction of an entire species is MUCH worse than one planet being destroyed. they would have to add more of a reason to save earth.

I really do see both sides.  Earth has 11.4 billion people in ME times, and is the driving force behind human dominance in the galaxy.  That's a lot of people...I wouldn't hold it against someone for chosing Earth.

But my choice has been made.

that is true, but the humans won't go extinct from this, they have alot of colonies and alot of people living on the citidel. NOW, if all of the human colonies had been destroyed before this, leaving earth with all but the smallest amount of human population, this would be a hard decision.

Plus, I don't remember where i heard it, but i remember that Earth wasn't in the best state of affairs either...
